I'm thinking of Epic Brainless on Peaches. Belgian ale brewed on peaches aged in oak. 1, the title is def me, stupid but sweet. Secondly I think the funk from the beer and the sweet from the peach will be good. 3rd, the 11%abv should sneak up on her. It's my wife, so don't need to go all Bill Cosby, but...just saying:wink:

I'm thinking this could go one of two ways. Insanity by Weyerbacher (nicely summarizes V day) or Big Timber Porter by Big Timber Brewing (obvious). If you don't choose one of those, pick something that your wife might like!!! Don't let someone else pick!!!

Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence mixed with Creme Brulee. I'd go 2 parts to one part.

I'll be spending Valentine's Day by myself with a La Fin du Monde and possibly a BA Yeti. I can't complain one bit.

Alesmith should be available in your state.

2016 marks (22) years with my best friend. This one is on deck for Sunday the 14th.

Split a bottle of blushing monk with the wife last night. Seemed to have the desired effects... :sunglasses:

Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence. Admittedly, not the best BSDA or Stout around but it is very nice and suits the occasion. Sexy label, nice dark chocolate taste with coffee undertones. It would work nicely as an after dinner beer but it isn't so sweet that it is dessert.

Im going to start things off with this. Its fantastic if you can find it for vday. It has the appropriate colors (beer and bottle) to play the part.

    EXACTLY

Can't believe how tone deaf folks are to take that many posts for someone--YOU-- to hit it on the head.

Get what you want for you but for her--her favorite--and that only if she really likes beer.

My wife's favorite beer is Santilli IPA from Night Shift. However, She also is enjoying expanding her palate which has included BA stouts, RIS, and most other things besides puckering sours/lambics. SOO, I know what my wife likes, and I also know she likes to be surprised by something new.
BTW, this is supposed to be a fun thread, if I thought the BA community knew my wife, I'd be a little concerned!
