Just cracked open a couple bottles yesterday. I agree with what some are saying. I almost detect a bit of pine-sol/spruce notes in there, similar to the spruce pils but much fainter...I'm guessing this is what others are describing as the "soapy" flavor. Not sure if its just the abundance of lime or what. I'm not really getting any graham cracker as well, but interested to see how this develops over the next couple weeks.

Yes the lime is very "limey" and pretty bitter. The first couple I had the Graham Cracker would come on right at the end.

I can honestly say... I hated this beer. I decided to give it a second chance this year... nope still hate it. Pretty rare for me to dislike something from Short's, but the flavor is just not pleasant at all to me.

i love this beer on tap. i was so excited when i found it bottled last year. it tasted like sulfur and awful. if i trade for this year's, will it be similarly awful?

I thought it tasted fine from the bottle, but not as true to Key Lime Pie as the draft pour I had, in some undefined way. However from the bottle, there were little limey fruit pieces in the head that made the limeness feel even more authentic.

I enjoyed a bottle today and the lime is definitely still up front. I thought the lime would have faded but it's pretty much still the same.

I bet if kept cold, it's still fine. I had a Soft Parade from 11 months ago today, kept cold. The hops were faded, but the flavor was still acceptable. Amazing...

Dang, thought it was going to be "snuck" into the schedule when I saw this thread.
