Didn't mean to upset anyone. I got to beachwood frequently but haven't tried PtY yet. Do I expect it to be the best beer ever? Not by a long shot. Do i want to scratch it off my bucketlist if I only need to drive 10 minutes to try it? Yes. Also my mistake, Hollingshead is next Monday, not this Monday. Thanks for clarifying.

Saw the MT IG post about the Orderville IPA release tomorrow. Is it truly worthy of the whole shebang? The reviews aren't as enticing.

I am just waiting for Booming Rollers so I can pour it into my face by the gallon.

Most people get fat around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don't. I save my calories for the Booming Rollers release.

Just picked up hop slam at TW in Tustin. Their limit is 2 sixers per customer.

Not sure about this year, but in years past, Tustin has also tapped a smaller keg of Younger unannounced, prior to their scheduled ticketed tapping.

Are they doing Russian River week this year? Haven't been there in a while and don't see anything on their website about it this year.

Awesome! I must have missed it. Looked at that last week and didn't see anything besides trivia night

I second that! Had it last year at Stone, but it wasn't good tonight....

Not to shit on it, but I never bought into the hopslam hype. First bottle I tried 3 years ago had an overpowering sweetness (honey?) that I couldn't get past. Give me west coast hop water any day.

Maybe it just tastes a lot better out of a bottle? Definitely glad I picked up this six pack, now I know to pass on it from now on!
That Stack is down to about 8 - 6 packs now!

St Archers first barrel age beer hit distro and it's pretty amazing. Only 12.99 for a 17 oz bomber that is super smooth and crushable for a 12% barrel aged blend of barley wine, stout and porter.

Believe they are talking about the Tusk and Grain Blend No. 1. It's just a name for the barrel aging program they have going now at Saint Archer.
