I wish people would stop talking about St. James

 

People talking about the neighborhood where HH wanted to establish their brewpub is a good thing. Why don't you want people talking about St James Tavern?

 

Is Everyone Wants Some Citra going to be a ticketed release next weekend? It's my birthday and I really dont want to miss out.

 

I believe all future releases will be ticketed events.. They did say they'd give a 48 hour notice before tickets go on sale.

 

Everybody Wants Some Citra on 2/21... Tickets on sale Wed at 12 noon, 350 tickets available. (3) 4-packs per person limit with a ticket.

 

Has anyone who is complaining about Hoof ever been to a brewery opening weekend? I mean c'mon. Of course they are going to have problems and they are going to be packed, they are going to run out of things.

 

I love the way they're doing releases now...set time/date for the drop, 3 4pk limit so a lot more people have a shot to get some, no waiting in line for hours.

Also with that many tickets available no one should have an issue getting one if they're on the site to buy at noon.

 

Is Sunday the only day you can pick up beer if you buy a ticket?

My experience was pretty good for an opening weekend especially with the amount of hype behind this brewery. You can tell they definitely have some growing to do with their beer but overall everything I tried besides Everybody Wants Some was clean and well fermented. They are off to a good start for a brand new brewpub. It is a very "high end" hipster joint, I was expecting a wrestling ring in the corner and maybe a riding bull.

They are trying to keep from running out of beer because they wouldn't give any samples. You had to buy a glass to try anything.

 

Love the new system for timed tickets so people stop whining about not being able to hang around FB all day. Good for people driving from out of town. It did screw me personally because I teach until 12:20 but it's all good. Plenty of chances to drink their stuff at the brewpub now.

 

I plan to go to hoof hearted next month on my way back home and hopefully on my way back from KBS week. Does anyone have any pointers. Never been so don't know how they do with having their cans available at the brewery and junk. Let me know!

 

The short :: Cans are sporadic ticketed releases now. Track them on Facebook for updates on tickets and pick-up dates. No to-go sales at the Brewpub right now.

 

According to their brewery Instagram page, South of Eleven cans are coming soon!! Personal favorite, stoked for them.
