Night Hound Black IPA

 

Grabbed a 4-pack of the Creeker at the Finger Lakes Beverage today, and I'd think that you can get it at the brewery too. They've added it to the year round line up so hopefully it'll make it to where ever else Ithaca beers are sold.
Pacific Gravity was my favorite of the Box of Hops this year. I hope they bring it back for the next BoH.

 

Label promotes GABF Gold Medals in the 2011 and 2012 Specialty Beer Category, and the Bros and BA reviews back it up with outstanding ratings, but I was fairly underwhelmed. Hazelnut is present immediately in an otherwise bland experience. I won’t be revisiting this one again. YMMV.

 

Wife got me some chocolate..... better than I expected.

On 2/18/06, Down Under (Melbourne) got a do over when the recording truck messed up the first 2 songs. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra just happened to be backing a rock legend... you get it 3 days before the 10 year anniversary.

 

I just drank a bomber of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale after work because I was at the beer store and only had $4.50 on me. There were a couple of buy one get one's but they would not let me buy just one. What a great bottle of beer for $2.99.

Still working on that bomber of Bozo Beer, but took a quick break to after bottling my own beer to give it a try, like it so far, saison yeast really did its job, getting some nice little funk going on, can't wait until it's fully carbed!

 

Now we know why @JISurfer moved to Hawaii, so he'd be closer to the Pro Bowl every year.

 

Though a holiday, drove into DC this morning without much trouble. Then headed from DC to Baltimore mid-day until my meeting was canceled in route. So, took a very slow detour on some sketchy road conditions.

Came back home to crack open this, but a day late....



And now, we get 60 degrees and a bunch of rain tomorrow to wash this stuff away? Craziest weather.

I-95 through Howard County looked like a war zone around lunchtime. Cars off in the trees, 2-3 smashed together and turned around, more getting pulled onto tow trucks, a truck/trailer off into the ditch next to the ramp, etc. It wasn't much snow, but somehow that area was particularly bad. Had to be 6 or 7 issues between Laurel and 695.
