You forgot the name of your kids. There isn't one name Chocolate, but there is one named Coffee.

    Beautiful family photo though. :grinning:

Hummm I guess I should find Night Stalker and Big John, bring them home, and add them to the photo too.

Unfortunately both have gotten harder to find. I do have momma Night Stalker. Unfortunately her kids are nicer than she is. Although she's not exactly bad or anything.

Big John was hardly ever around...

A sad tale of domestic abuse.

It might be hard, but you might want to tell Henry he was adopted. You know, when he's old enough.

My local grocery has been liquidating (aha) their more exotic stock (read: not Pabst), and I've been making out like a bandit on wacky oddball stuff at 75% off. I'll upload the next haul....

So, okay. Technically not a beer, but a bottle opener given to me as a gift from our local pub artist. All recycled materials and specifically designed for bottle cap collectors.

I don't care if it's a piece of wood with a bolt through it and a filthy piece of felt I'll probably catch diseases from. It came from the heart and I love it to bits.

Does it work well? It seems to me that the bolt might not do a very good job and the wood might be weak.

But if it does, I am gonna make me one!

It's solid simple craftsmanship. It might not show in the picture but the piece of wood is like a finger thick and made from solid wood rather than plywood or something like that. The bolt is also screwed in tight, nothing's budging. I've tested it on location and it works beautifully, though I wouldn't dare say it works as well on bomber or 750 cl caps. Maybe if you custom make one for that and put the felt back/down half an inch?

I can tell you exactly where it was. It was on the very top of the same shelf where they keep six-packs of Troegs, Stoudts, and Schmaltz (He'Brew).

    Happy hunting!

Here's two more pictures by the way, the last one is a detail of the "decorative" element if you can call it that: a flattened copper coin with the letters KUL engraved in it, for Kulminator obviously, a pub name that will make a few ears ring round these parts.

10th anniversary Utopias. Will be released in November, same retail price as before at $160. It's the same idea for the beer as previous years, but a different blend of barrels as always. This year has buffalo trace bourbon, port, rum and one more. More info can be found here: http://www.mutineermagazine.com/blog/2012/08/first-look-10th-anniversary-samuel-adams-utopias/
