Speaking of this...is there anything "official" planned for the Marriott Waterside the night before?

 

Last years tap list was better than any bottle share happening...not to mention you get solid pours often directly from the brewer or assistant that is happy to be sharing their best beers!

The only really good thing about being able to bring bottles last year was having some options to drink while eating lunch without having to run off to get a bunch of pours. I don't understand people that paid $100 for a ticket, ticked a couple of whale pours (SR-71, DB Huna, etc.) and then spent the entire time under the big tent opening bottles they brought themselves.

I'm an old guy and certainly understand the "The old days were better ..." mindset but it's not always true. I'm looking forward to this year's event in a new format. Will it be worse than it's been? I kinda doubt it. Will it be better than it's been, or at least better in different ways? Probably. Will there be a shit-ton of awesome beers to try? Undoubtedly.

18th Street Brewery is bringing BA Bitches Bank. I would highly recommend that beer for anyone who hasn't had it or doesn't really know 18th Street.

My Wrist Band Ticket shows as OUT FOR DELIVERY today per USPS tracking

 

Where are you seeing the tracking at?

 

I got an email last Saturday from Vendini Fulfillment (Huna Order Shipped) and inside is a USPS tracking link.

 

Have all of them shipped out? I haven't received anything from Vendini.

Me neither... it might depend where you live.

 

Mine were delivered today in Chicago.

 

I believe they said they were sending out orders to all the Cool Kids first..
The rest should follow sometime before the 12th

 

No email or tickets for me. No doubt this is bias against short old guys.

 

I'm 5' 9" and 53 yrs old so that's your baseline if this is indeed their bias.

So for those who have received your tickets and/or email saying they're on the way, did you provide the name of your second guest at the time of purchase or by an email after the fact? No biggie, just wondering. I haven't heard a peep yet and I sent my second name after purchase.

 

I haven't recieve mine yet and I purchased just one ticket during the el cat window

 

I entered my 2nd name at the time of purchase and I received my wristbands yesterday.
