I feel the same. I felt last year was not as good as this year or the year before last by a little. I drNk it on tap and in bottle this year so far I feel the bottle was better to me but I'm sure they is just my palete for the day with that. But yeah I think this year is awsome

 

Much like grapes are to Wine vintages, some years hop harvest are better than others. And the recent harvest on Mosaic is pretty awesome...

Crafted Drafts has SMS. As well as a bunch of other cool stuff.

 

Nothing like giving a highly regarded, highly volatile, high ABV IPA another week or two in the bottles. Bad move on their part. It seems like there would have been far better alternatives.

 

Tried to pick up SMS today at a Market District, they had sold out before I got out of work.

 

Problem is fixed...it will be coming out this week.

 

I was just at Lizardville about a half hour ago, they said next week. While Fat Head's may be shipping it back out this week...who knows when the shelves will actually fill.

 

I'm hearing this week as well on Juju depending upon when your neighborhood store wants it "re-dropped" as most were planning today.

 

An alternative is eating the cost, trying to recoup through insurance, just telilng retailers to create a custom tag, etc. It's not that complicated.

I had it on draft at Lizard, it was very well done as I expected. Doesn't change the perception they've got couch potato stoners running a business making silly decisions.

Ok relax for a moment. Take a deep breath. UPC code was messed up. It mimicked Sunshine Daydream. The original plan was to wait till next week once it was fixed. Well Cavalier(the wholesaler) and Fat Heads made up UPC stickers and placed them on the 6pks that are going out. Now they have different bar codes and are shipping starting tomorrow. We(Rozis) will be getting them on Thursday. Sh*t happens. No need to start getting achy in the pants over this. It's Fat Heads...why would you begin to doubt them?!?! "Chill out man, have a beer."

 

SMS at Andersons in Dublin...they had quite a bit on a pallet stack as of 4pm today

14.99....didn't seem to be a limit

Look, beer is subjective. Your opinions my vary greatly from mine.

My opinion is, Juju is very dank, peachy, as well as pretty bitter. In a week, it simply will not taste like it does today, and like it did when it came out of the fermenters. This is the nature of these types of IPAs. Usually, bitter wins out after a few weeks or a couple months, and all the other nuances fade away.

To willfully abandon the quality of your beer for some bureaucratic nonsense is one thing. But for a brewery that prides itself in hippy iconography and is making an absolute killing regardless of these high profile beer releases...I mean, is it not a silly decision? How could it not be? Just release it and deal with the red tape later.

Wait, hold your horses, I'm simply pointing out this is going far and beyond overboard. Why tell people one thing, then do another, and wait all this time? It's just simply silly. Why can I simply not say so without people jumping all over me, and telling me I'm the one that needs to chill? I can't say these things while also being chill? Odd. I'm not the one being overly defensive for Fat Head's here.

Either way, back to the main subject, since you are Rozi's, any sighting of SMS bottles yet?
