Seriously, I understand we're all snarky assholes from time to time, but save that shit for elsewhere. We're better than that as a beer community.

That said, I'm hoping that I can get me some Hop Juju this weekend. I got my review at work and I'm ahead of where I was expected in my development and I am getting a bonus. Woot!

 

Just keep knocking um out making it more readable by the day...seriously I highly suggest it. 10 different people are going to post the same updates but now I read the ones with information and not the ones with whining about whatever they can find wrong with the event/release/arrival of new beer. It also helps me to not respond and be put on timeout when the person runs and tattles. Ignore button for the win guys!

 

I apologize. That was bad. I currently have an injury and can't run (my outlet for everything) so I am cranky as a ************* right now. I am surprised it came out as "nice" as it did.

 

Why apologize? The forum police are as bad as the know it all know nothings. Beer lends itself to running at the mouth, and a little banter never hurt anyone.

$12.99 + tax = $13.83 at the Jungle. BTW this years JuJu is awesome.

 

$12.99 a 4 pack at Jungle Jims this week. I got 4 myself bottled 2/8/2016. I had one on 2/15/16 and I could barely taste the hops! Just kidding, it was amazing, probably my favorite beer, period.

As for SMS in southwest Ohio, a lot of retailers are doing a 2 bottle limit, except for Jungle Jims Eastgate, who was out when I tried to pick some up. Hoping to get another 4 pack.

Also, MadTree is releasing Identity Crisis, one of my favorite beers of theirs. It's a hoppy porter that really doesn't classify itself according to BJCP guidelines. It releases on Thursday in their taproom at noon. $12.50 for a 6 pack, one case limit. Should hit retail next week.

 

I don't know the answer, but the only reason I guess no is because we also didn't get Christmas Bomb even though it was under the ABV limit. This is pure speculation, but I am just guessing that since we cannot get regular Bomb, we will not get any variants of it. Who knows.

 

Not to reinvent JuJu freshness debate, but I just kicked the most recent keg I had in my kegerator. usually takes me 4-5 weeks to get through a 1/6bbl. Thinking of snagging a 1/6bbl of JuJu from the brewery today, any risk assuming I keep properly pressurized / chilled in kegerator?

Draft is going to be the best in terms of keeping freshness. Personally I thought Juju was great for the 2 months I was drinking my supply. I had a friend in Alabama who had it 4 months after release and raved about it. The freshness debate is getting a little ridiculous at this point.

 

I also got the Boulevard Chocolate with Raspberry yesterday, not sure how new that is into the market.

 

There's a difference between running the mouth/banter and calling people names and arguing. The former is acceptable, the latter not so much. Chill out, have a beer, and be an advocate, not an asshole. It's not a hard ask, is it?

Is it hard not to be an asshole? For me it is, especially when I have a few in the bin. Now, even at my full asshole level, I never say anything truly mean or personal, and didn't see anyone else take it too far either.

In any case, if you don't like it ignore it(or me if you like), but without some back and forth, this is a boring site.

 

I thought the join date plus master cicerone comment made for a personal, asshole type comment. I know that wasn't you, but that's why I said something.

Like I said, back and forth is one thing, but there are numerous times on here when I see people jumping down people's throats solely based on their join date. There was a time when everyone on here was new. We're supposed to be advocates of beer, not snobby assholes. Leave that to the wine folks
