Fwiw, I got a 32oz fill of Oat Overdose at Chelsea Milk & Hops today. $12 plus tax. Not a bad price.

just out of curiosity, wouldn't the centrifuge get rid of the hazy unfiltered qualities that everyone has been happy to see in their latest batches of their beers? don't know much about centrifuges but i was concerned that the filtering would alter taste

Ben at the brewery was explaining it to us the other day and he was saying the beer should taste even better. You get better yields and even more hop flavors.

    Here's some info on them:

That stinks, a cloudy ipa is part of the appeal.

OH's IPAs aren't that cloudy though compared to some other breweries. I would say their NTU average is lower than Trillium/Tree House/Tired Hands etc.

Except for 2nd Anniversary and Stacks on Stacks - those were both pretty hazy. Coincidentally (or not), those were two of the juiciest beers they've made, and two of my favorites.

Just doesn't seem like a very good idea when everyone wants a hazy unfiltered ipa.

i aint no brewing scientist but from the video i gather that the brewer can control how much they spin out, and the beer can retain the "unfiltered" quality. from my limited homebrewing experience i can see how using such a machine would increase yields.

Not on sale at OH. They are being released at the Barrier Taproom.

Barrier uses 500ml bottles. Hopefully some of these hit distro or go on tap in the city since I won't be able to make it out to Barrier.

Thank gosh this is happening at Barrier and not at OH. I'm going to OH for my birthday with a large group of friends this weekend. Planned to go this weekend to avoid the bi-weekly releases and the lines associated with them. On the other hand, would be sweet to get some of that Half & Half, which is an imperial milk stout with coffee. So hoping they do release some around the city.
