Me too :stuck_out_tongue: I'm sure some people think I'm some n00b because I couldn't make any of the releases during the first year. So be it!

Speaking of "n00b"... really good beer.

    Sorry, wrong thread.

Anybody hear if Troy has contingency plans if the I70 rockslide problems will effect the release?

I am curious about this myself, specifically in regards to next weekend. I heard it just re-opened a few days ago, but I don't know if its all clear for full traffic yet. Has anyone driven from Denver all the way in the past week?

I hope it's not changed, more than likely I wouldn't be able to make it. Yeah, I'm being selfish.

It's looking better. Troy hasn't said anything about it yet, but I believe he's supposed to announce the beers/limits tomorrow, so maybe he'll comment on it then.

Jeeeebus I didn't even know the extent of it until I read that. Sounds like getting to Casey is going to be an absolute nightmare unless something changes drastically within the next week.

It is/was much worse though! Assuming they do what they're planning today/tomorrow at least I-70 won't be COMPLETELY closed from 9 am to 4 pm. That would have really sucked. That or the 200-mile detour each way. So maybe there's a lead car and only one lane moving in each direction by next weekend, but that would be an improvement.

EDIT: But even if they have traffic consistently moving in both directions simultaneously, I'm guessing we can still add an hour to the drive each way.

I just drove up to glenwood springs from denver. it took about an hour extra. this was at 4:15pm today. I heard it will be fully open from now on but have no idea. There was not a pilot car being used or any lead cars. it seemed like a huge mess and only seemed to be about 50 yards of actual rock slide damage but for some reason 20 miles of highway is closed. strange.

Well, tomorrow's the day and by a favorable turn of events, I will be making the drive up. Hopefully traffic isn't too much of a nightmare...

A couple people drove up today and said it didn't take any longer then normal. It's one lane each way for about 6 miles. I don't think you'll have much trouble

It was 1 lane each way for a while last summer, so it shouldn't be terrible. See y'all there!
