Looking like May for Veil in terms of getting product to market.

Now to try and justify a ~4 hour drive both ways for only 8 bottles...THAT is the tough one...maybe if they have some left on Saturday.

Bottle count might help out to determine how long they will last.

Had a sample pour at Max's on Monday. Among such a lineup it didn't stand out but wasn't disappointing either. Moderately sour with a good peach flavor. Clean and dry. Not sure I'd make a big trip for it and if bottle counts are high chances are you'll see some at Wine Source, Max's, etc.

Like Dr. Bier, I had a sample of this in a flight on Monday. It was tasty enough. I recall the couple next to me both thought it had too much vanilla/oak but I didn't really get that at all.

Hearing that it is oak/vanilla forward, and not terribly sour actually has me excited.

99% of American sours are overly sour and unbalanced, and none of the underlying funk or fruit (if fruited) comes through. Just sour bombs. (See: Bruery, The)

I'm not being sarcastic, but is PnB Peche n' Brett? I am so out of touch with all these acronyms. If so, Peche n' Brett is one of the best beers I have had in recent memory. I seem to love that beer more than anyone. That being said, I don't think there is any lacto/pedio in there, just Brett. I assume these Evo beers have bacteria in them, so I guess it's not a fair comparison.

tl;dr I love Peche n' Brett, and if this Evo is half as good, I'll be happy.

What is this? I am going to be in central MD Saturday, was planning on hitting Manor Farm and then Union on my way back north to PA - what brewery are these cans from, may be interested in trying to get?

Ah - so I found your brewery - still a question - is this a release just at the brewery in Cambridge, or could I find this at some of the outlets between Bal/Wash?
