    Hurt their brand? Now that they are distributing through Johnson/Phillips, it's gotten better, but years ago, I really don't think they cared about hurting their brand. The popularity of the "Surly" name has grown nation wide. So, if Todd doesn't come out till after St. Patrick's Day, are you not going to buy it? Answer would probably be the same for everyone on here.

    I'll definitely try it, but the November Abrasive that fell off so quick has made me a little leery of anything not super fresh.

    Agreed, but it'll still sell locally and trade nationally even if it's a month old. If they want them to move faster, move it to the price of Furious/Sue. $10-$12 for a 4 pack and it would fly off shelves.

    Totally agree. Right now, everywhere I go, it sits and sits. I'm in the north suburbs, but still. Last time I actually checked an Abrasive date it was over 6 months old. Outside of seeing it on tap, I've completely given up on even looking.

    North Suburbs? I saw some with the december can date at Big Top Liquor in Mounds View. Also, Moe's in Mounds View is pouring hop slam right now.

    fwiw, they had a bunch in the cooler as well. in addition to the cases on the floor across from the cooler.

    Gotta say, in spite of my previous comment, that I just drank a 1/4/16 Abrasive and it was fine. So 6 weeks old and holding.

    Didn't Loonidragon sit for weeks last year? I remember South Lyndale writing a sign specifying NO LIMIT to try and get rid of it.

    It was around a long time last year. I talked to a rep and he said it would be much more limited this year. Not sure if that is true or not, but it seems like it may be.
