    When: Saturday, Jan 30 @ 1PM
    Where: Grill/Courtyard Area @
    Heritage Apartments
    1471 8th Avenue
    San Diego, CA 92101

    Details below...

    My apt. building is the Heritage Apartments located in the Cortez Hill area of downtown SD. As long as the weather cooperates I will be hosting outside at the grill and courtyard area of my building. Please enter at the SE corner of 8th and Beech (entrance is on 8th next to the leasing office, which is a house). See pic below. There is a call box where you can dial 023 and I can buzz you in. If you'd like my cell number in case of any issues, PM me. After entering the gate go straight down the stairs and make a right into the courtyard.

    I posted a Google spreadsheet so you can add your name and what you're bringing so we don't bring multiples of the same beer. Please bring your own small tasting glass and you're more than welcome to bring snacks/food. We will order pizza during the share so bring cash (~$12/person) to throw in if you're interested. There is street parking, including metered spots that take credit cards, and the location is walk-able from the Santa Fe Depot.

    Bump. This is already looking nutso and apparently it's the 1-yr anniversary of hosting these shares. Looking forward to the 30th.

    Looks like we have around 20 people including +1's so I'm going to cap it at who has signed up for now so everyone can get a fair shot of tasting what they'd like. There is a "wait list" at the bottom of the spreadsheet in case people who have signed up cannot make it anymore.

    If you signed up originally, but can't make it anymore, please delete your entry and notify this thread so someone in the wait list can move their name up.

    Just found out my previous engagement has been moved to another day so I put myself and a plus 1 on the wait list. But fair warning, If I end up getting in I'll be sitting in the corner by myself muttering until the Mega Whales appear.

    I'm actually going to be in SD on the 30th but probably won't be able to make it. List sounds pretty amazing so far.

    Just curious, how does it end up working out? Do you guys drink all the beers there or only a few?

    Yea, we've opened pretty much everything at every share I've had, even back in DC. There might be some floaters towards the end and I feel bad so I drink them and pay for it the next day.

    Well we put BAVSS and BA kopi speedway against each other. BAVSS seems to have been the clear winner although ba kopi was great as well.

    The ANTEAD set was fun to have. I put coconut > vanilla > then the other two tied for 3rd.

    Random LPF was brought out as well as a pre-ban FourLoko just because ppl thought it would be funny.

    DDG b2 made an appearance again. Below is the photo I took of the graveyard but quality is crappy at best. Apparently using a camera on a phone at the end of a night is not my specialty.

    I think there are better photos out there but currently waiting on the other attendees to wake up and post them. hehehe.
