Hey all, So tonight is the night! I plan to be at founders around 12:30 p.m. to sit at he bar for a while before settling down outside for KBS release. Who else is planning to do the same? looking for some people to help burn the downtime with and talk beer and generally just shoot the Sh*t until 11 a.m. when the doors open back up. Whose with me? EDIT: I'll also be bringing a few things to share
We've been here for 2 days. Rations are low, but spirits are high. We got our first meal since arriving today after Chuck killed a squirrel. The meat was stringy, but it sufficed. I used it's pelt to make some really cute ear muffs.
You can find me in line tomorrow wearing a yellow backpack and a bright yellow Michigan hoodie. First group of occupiers that yell out, "Hey NPH" get a pour of some Heady Topper.
Careful not to eat any wild sweet pea. There will be hundreds of people waiting after you to take your spot. Though I heard the poisoning was all a myth..........or was it............
Sounds like I'm going to have to wear like 4 hoodies plus a jacket just to have a chance to stay a little warm for 6 hours...
At least at 6:30 the Greyhound station across the street opens. A great place to drop a deuce, wash up, and warm up!

Probably a good call, especially because I don't have any warm boots/shoes... Also thinking triple layer socks is probably not a bad idea.
Is 4am too early to get there??? Either way I'll be there sleeping in a folding chair with headphones on. Wake me up around 7:30 and ill share all the thumbprint new glarus I got (barleywine, apple ale and cherry stout). Also bringing a raspberry tart.... All the fruit makes my body think its eating a legitimate breakfast.
good call on the warmers. I'm gonna have to dig mine out of my camping gear. I'm bringing Cascade Sang Royal, Bruery Sour in the Rye, and some other stuff...probably a stout or two. Looking forward to it!
