Kane is releasing their Barleywine Vengeful Heart today
By today I mean now

 

Oh, man. Don't think I'm gonna make it for that today. Wonder if it'll last til tomorrow.

There is so much wrong with world if a barleywine doesn't last a little while there.

 

I hear ya. It's just that it's my favorite Kane beer and first time bottled. I'm there now anyway, sampling a couple and with bottles to go.

 

6pp limit is very generous. Annoying though; no way this lasts until next week with that "limit", so none for me :/ Stricter limits once in awhile would be nice; it's gonna sell out regardless. Whether it's a bourbon barrel aged beer or a barley wine, Kane always sells out in 24hrs except for Malus so perhaps consider dropping the limit? It's a big big beer after all to get through. Very accommodating for traders tho

 

Between Kane and Carton regularly dropping great beers with no notice my South Jersey living family members are getting a little tired of "Would you mind dropping everything and going to get me beer."

 

anniversary beer was incredible and lasted for weeks. its not about the beer its about the fucking hype and trade factor. i think this should last...might be wrong though...

 

Agree that it's a great beer. Maybe it was a big bottling run. I have no problem with the limit and I can't imagine this really being a huge trading commodity except for extras but who knows.

 

True, and that one was aged in bourbon barrels. For a barleywine - even as one as good as this one - HOPEFULLY it lasts two weekends. Because as the poster above said, there would be much wrong in the world if it doesn't (considering the 6pp imposed "limit", which is the most generous I've seen Kane offer in terms of releases with any limit)

 

I was surprised that they didn't have Vengeful Heart on tap also.

Honestly I didn't see many people buying bottles. No line at all. Not everyone sitting there drinking had bottles either. You may be fine

 

I was there and agree I only bought two and most people were not buying bottles. Holy silent nights coffee though, I wish they allowed growlers.

 

Yeah the Silent Nights w/coffee was no joke. I got two bottles also.

 

Just left there half about a half hour ago. Fridge was fully stocked with vengeful hearts. Got my triple, 4 bottles, and a silent nights with coffee. That was superb.

 

That hop lab triple IPA is so good. That's another one that ought to be year round, along with the Citra.

 

Just opened a bottle of hearts. Very very good as well. Can't wait to crack the triple tomorrow night.

 

Can confirm this batch of Triple is amazing
