Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

I had an eight month old bottle that wasn't bad. Now the Imperial version, I'm still waiting on mine to arrive, so I'm hoping it isn't a mess at this point.

 

Unfortunately, as discussed a few pages back, the Imperial's best days are far behind us. I can attest to that personally.

Same here. I got 2 first go-round and wanted to buy 2 more after my wife and I shared a bottle and both loved it. That's what I get for sleeping on this! Oh well.

 

At least we can still fill our growlers with it!

 

So you didnt like Cinnamonk? Honestly it wasnt my favorite, but I still hvae one bottle. Wondering if cellaring this will allow the cinnamon to drop off a bit.

 

Make some sweet and spicy bbq ribs with the beer as a base... I think that would taste pretty delicious.

Results would probably be better with a french press infusion instead of dumping in a coffee stout.

I drank my first one last night. It was pretty tasty. Vanilla might have been a bit faded but I still enjoyed it.

 

Anyone have an opinion of this year's Filmishmish? Trying to decide on how many to pick up.

Smells funky, Not in a good way (at least for me). Tastes delicious!

 

In this regard, I think for anyone in RS/HS, it's just best not to tell on yourself and hope you are the one that handles the finances in your relationship.

 

Is it overly tart?

 

Its the bruery...so yes.

 

Not overly tart. Still get a nice crisp mouthfeel and pucker on first sip, typical of Bruery sours for me. I get a lot of fruit throughout, which is really enjoyable. Apricots are one of my favorite fruits so I might be little biased. I'd grab a bottle or two if you were hesitant to max out. Solid offering.
