Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

Steel Toe kegged a bunch (16 full kegs), They hope to have it on tap well into summer. So realistically many more people get to enjoy it.

Im also bias because I work 4 minutes from steel toe, so I mean, unlimited access to BtD for a few months, Im not complaining

 

I'm gonna guess one of those kegs is coming to Winterfest, especially since they poured it last year and didn't even release it last year.

 

The bottle count on lunker was much higher with no limits , with BTD this brew was in a higher demand than lunker from the start with a much lower bottle count.

 

Anyone have any idea when Tweak is hitting the TC? Or did it come and go already...

Stopped into Heritage this morning, they have a single bottle of Itasca Lunidragon (It may have been the 2014 now that I think about it), Shilkmake, Moneytree$, Lightspeed, and all the Ballast Point fruited beers. Non BA Silhouette still on the shelf too.

 

Should hopefully be in the next week or two.

 

Yeah but you can do all of that with a one or two bottle limit... Either way selling out quicker puts their beer in higher demand and creates more urgency around their releases as opposed to the beer sitting around for 3 months and I'm sure that played a large roll in the 4 bottle limit which I can understand
Next time we are gonna be getting there at 9am for the 3pm release!

Long shot here but anyone seen Bell's 30th around. Singles are cool, 6 pack would be awesome!

Don't worry about it, I still have two left. I figured it'd be long gone but it doesn't hurt to ask; may be hiding in the suburbs somewhere.

 

I saw Bells 30th recently in River Falls at Dicks and at Divine, if you are willing to travel a bit. Call first though as that was a couple weeks back.

 

On tap at Moe's in mounds view. $5/10oz pour.

 

My buddy got there at 3:30 and there was already a sold out sign in the door. Didn't last anywhere close to 2 hours. Another friend had called and they said there were 75 people in line before the 3:00 release.

 

St Anthony had some in the hwy 88 location. Was there friday night.

 

Any NE/northern MPLS burb January Abrasive sightings?

 

Firestone Walker fans will have to keep waiting unfortunately. They announced the next 8 states they will be expanding to in 2016 and Minnesota did not make the cut. Iowa and Canada will be getting it, so we at least have an opportunity for border jumping.
