How about looking twice, and packing once?
Nothing is more disheartening than packing lunch at 3am and thinking you're throwing a rockstar into the bag, only to go and grab said beverage at break and realize it was a Heady Topper that was sitting there instead. :slight_frown:

I never done that. I did have a beer explode on me a few weeks ago, that was sad. I cannot afford to waste beer.

Not that I hated it, and I think there would even be a time that I would enjoy it, but I was looking for something a bit more mild, and Dubhe is VERY bold in flavor. Totally killed my palate for dinner, and I wish that every bar in NJ who carries craft beer didn't just assume that those who want a decent beer automatically means that we want the hoppiest palate wracker around.

Thats when you head to the car and drink your "rockstar".

I can't believe no one's blamed DFH yet for their horrendous labels. A different beer should have a completely different label, and if you can't be bothered to make up a design, do a text-only label with a different color for every beer. It's not exactly rocket science.

I agree my previous counter example of Goose Island isn't great, but look at The Bruery: pinnacle of simple and functional label design.

I totally disagree about DFH labels. Those DFH have the nicest labels around IMO. Also GI is a terrible counter example - sofie, matilda, Juliet, etc. all look very similar (which are the nice GI labels).

Yes, reading my own counter argument I do agree. Changed it to The Bruery, that fits my point helluva lot better.

I wish I could do that. I don't have an office job. Even having it in my presence would have been grounds for termination if it were discovered.

One time I grabbed a Bud Ice tallboy instead of an Ice House tallboy and didn't realize it until I was in my car. I was upset.

I keep my session/common beers in a different part of the fridge from the rare/strong stuff... It not only helps with mistakes like this, but it makes it easy for other people to know what they can grab from my fridge without asking...

    **This is an almost break**

I had a procedure done on friday and wanted a beer. So as I am on pain killers and holding my son, I have my last bottle of BORIS Royale sitting on 1. A glass table which 2. Stands on a ceramic tile floor. Reach for his burp cloth, hit to bottle, knock it over rolls onto the area I just had worked on, then drops on my toe then the floor. Doesnt break, "I say Fuck!" Wife yells at me. Good beer though. Sad it was my last one.

    Cheers!

Yeah, understandable. I was half joking. I have an office, but don't work in it all day. I do have beer from time to time in my mini fridge in my office, but rarely do I ever take a drink of it, until I'm done for the day. Perk of working for a small company, but not advisable period.

That's why I love being a student - I can have a beer with lunch with no worries.

Whew, a WWS that late would put me down for the night, prolly show up 2 hours late the next day.
Man that beer is beastly, never had anything like it...well DORIS is the closest I can think of.
Fortunately I rarely have more than 4 types of beer in my fridge so I've never accidentally opened a special one.

You age beers in your refrigerator? I always thought it wasn't optimal to refrigerate a beer for a really really long period of time.

I had a roomate that doesn't particularly even appreciate craft beer open a Brew Dog Tokio that I was aging. I wasn't home and he didn't realize what kind of beer it was until he poured it. At least I like to believe he suffered through the whole bottle.

Typically no. I picked this up 6months ago (or so) and it had been aging since 08 at the package store. I threw it in the fridge so that it was ready to roll when a special occassion presented itself.

I typically do too. I think I f'd it up the other day when i was re-arranging things to see what I had and that may have been the first time that I thought I had an Indian Brown and it ended up with the normal daily beers. For shame.
