Sometimes I sit back and think, wow I'm really going to drive 2.5 hours each way to get 12 beers

I could do that, but I have too many good beers at my disposal as well as homebrew. I like their beer, but it's not worth all the extra effort to me.

I've been debating taking the 8.5 hour drive each way from NYC, I received some of their beers in a trade and fell in love with them.

You better bring 3 mules with you in your car and make sure all four of you have tickets. That kind of distance is hard to justify even for two cases no matter how good the beer is. I'd also wait to see if they ever do a release with both bottles and cans depending on the selection. I couldn't even justify the last release because the drafts and growler fills we're too meh. Twelve cans alone doesn't do it for me and I'm not even two hours away.

Agreed I dont think I would ever follow through on it for just beer. But I def do want to visit one day, maybe make a larger trip of it.

Now that the brewpub is open you could hit the brewpub and Columbus brewing on a Saturday then just hit the production location for cans and growlers on the way home. Not sure when Columbus Brewings new location is supposed to open though.

Wet when Slippery is fantastic....very very similar to Konkey but even more fruit. Could drink this all day

Wet When Slippery was awesome- essentially a passionfruit version of Konkey Dong.

Rose Gose exceeded expectations. Very well done gose.

Are these things on at the 4th Street location for those who would like to pass judgement but are only willing to pay for a $4 Uber ride?

Wet When Slippery was still on tap when I left at around 5pm today, as was Rose Gose. Both were pretty decent. They were saying they were having a bunch of draft problems and things were running out and not being replaced as a result. Are We Having Fun Yet was one of the ones that was out.

Draft pours are back on at the brewery for cannings. They split the lines now, one for cans only, the other for draft/growlers, so things were running a lot more smoothly today. My can wait was like 5 minutes

Still busy even with the tickets. Had to wait an hour and I got here at 1:40. People filling growlers seem to really be slowing it down.

    Beautiful weather though.

Can only line seemed to have disappeared by the time I got there. Both lines doing cans, drafts and growlers.

So if you want both you need to get in canning line, buy your allotment, then get back into the second line to buy a growler and draft beers?

When I left at 3 both lines were doing all 3.

It started with one line doing just cans, the other doing cans + draft + growler. Agreed on the growler fills slowing things way down. I was ~35 in line and checked out at 12:44.

Got there about 1:20ish and waited about an hour to get through still. Not bad, and growlers were what was slowing things up a tad. The can only line morphed into two everything lines shortly after I arrived.

Overall smooth experience with the weather a bonus. Already looking forward to the next event!
