There was a west coaster article that talked about Stone closing the farmer and surrendering the lease.

I never saw any posts about it tapping today. Odd since they distribute the kegs. Which is why they tend to be the first to tap.

 

Seems like all the SD places are a bit lagging in putting it on....honestly, probably will be a good week next week....

 

So YOU'RE the reason it kicked before I got there... Ha-ha. Wife and I rolled into town around 2 today and saw younger check ins on untappd @ Toronado, so we decided to swing by. We showed up and there was a sign saying "Younger is dead". Walked in and there was a table of guys who all looked drunk as fuck, like, half passed out heads buried in their hands or on the table. Then on top of it one of them started cussing out the staff for taking their empty glasses away (I guess there was like a half oz of Younger in one of the glasses still?) I was appalled at their behavior and kind of just felt bad for them.
We had a good time anyway, and had some great beers/sandwiches and the staff was awesome.

 

I agree the staff was awesome, two bartenders held it down. I took off around 12:45 , place was still calm no one out of hand yet. I probably could have easily put down another 20oz, but had to get back to a work conference. They will have be tapping two more kegs, hope u get some!

 

have ppl cleared out of Hamilton's yet? Hoping it's not busy when I'm there tonight.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the O'Brien's charity keg. Will be enjoying some on Wednesday!

Still not a peep I can find anywhere about PtY coming on at Stone Escondido. They're dicks on the phone when you call about it and only say it will go up on social media when it's tapped. I haven't seen squat on any of their Facebook pages. Any idea if it's happened there yet?

I'm sure they've only had 250 other people such as yourself asking "When are you putting PtY on???" I'd get sick of answering that call as well, especially if people are using a negative tone when asking about it.

 

Had far from a negative tone on my call. They're the ones being dicks. Don't want 250 calls? Be like the dozens of other establishments that at least drop a hint about when they will tap it.

 

Obviously. I looking here to see if anyone has had it yet at Stone (i.e. them lying to us all and putting it on without a notification). Let me guess...the last few posters work for Stone?

Seriously folks its not that hard to find, I have had between 24 -50 oz of PTY in SoCal the past 4 out of 5 years. If you really want to find it the Internet and social media is your friend.

 

It's just beer.
