How are it's ratings? That will surely be a factor.

I actually think Citra is going to bring more people than Make It Rain.

Is the thought that this will be a really big release? I know there is a collab and it is also NY Beer week. But the collab is no Trillium or Tired Hands. Was planning on getting there 8:30-9am. Hoping to be out by 11 with just cans.

Now if Mosaic was a 3rd can, I'll have to get there at 7am!

    That's what I'm afraid of.

I'm kind of hoping Mosaic actually drops at the release after this one, since it overlaps with Huna Day and I couldn't go this year. It would would at least cut down on the crowds a little bit.

I'm not afraid. I'd rather have it drop with this release so I won't have to go back. Would make it a big shit show but with the beer week, can see it happening. Having 3 cans from OH in my fridge would be sweet!

Meh. I'll probably pass on these bottles and save my money & carrying manpower for all the cans.

Prob a good call--I hope they prove me wrong someday, but OH hasn't mastered much besides the hoppy stuff.

Yea I actually agree with that. I might buy one bottle of the stout just to see how it is, but if I miss it I'm not gonna be upset. I thought the sample of Passiflora I had was pretty solid though, might pick up a bottle of that and see how it develops.

Friend of mine offered to stop by the brewery tomorrow to grab me some growlers. Is there any way to find out what they currently have on tap? He's not a huge beer guy, so I'd like to give him my order ahead of time if at all possible.

I'm a big fan of SD&H but I still have a bunch of IOL bottles I haven't touched, so I need to get through those first.

I will say, it's nice/interesting to see a BA stout that isn't an Imperial though.

Nah, they don't post the taplist anywhere unfortunately.

I actually doubt these bottles will bring many more people that weren't already planning on going.

Check Untappd, but if your friend is going right at open that won't be of much help. If he's going a little later on (opens at 5), you should have a few hours of check-ins to go by.

Yea on second thought you're probably right. They haven't produced any really desirable bottles yet. It could motivate some people that were already going to get there earlier though, since they mention that the SD&EH bottles are limited.

What's strange is SD&H is 7.4% - so the BA version is actually lower ABV?

Didn't even know that. How's that possible?

@kjrod20 You guys don't know about reverse BA? It's a technique where you put the beer in barrels and the alcohol actually diffuses through the barrel into the air.
