I have 120 going back 8 years. All dates are clearly legible still.

If I saw some, I would buy it, definitely at $10 or under.

    Cheers!

I saw it in a store once for $20
They seemed to have quite a bit. I bet they still do if they haven't lowered the price

Don't feel bad about the SMS. You paid an extra $1 for something that was hard to come by

Didn't see the date until now. Bottled 7/22/15. Solves one of the mysteries.

Agreed I'd definitely pay 5 bucks a bottle for sms if I had to. It's very good.

For what it's worth... I actually found 120 Minute readily available in 2015 at exactly this time last February in the Chicago-land, Milwaukee, and central Wisconsin areas.

Both 120 Minute IPA and World Wide Stout don't have label approval to be sold in CA. Not sure why. Not crying about it, they are both mediocre fresh and decent aged

That's okay. Doesn't need to be fresh. Says right on the bottle, "Ages well."

I used to see them on the shelf all year but recently they sell out the same day they are shelved. The beer is not everyone's cup of tea. I figured that an influx of new craft beer drinkers might be the reason they are selling so well but who knows. If you're starting to see them on the shelf again maybe things are returning to the way they used to be.

My 120's are etched on dates and if I remember don't have a day just month and year or is it year and month

    Enjoy

I agree not really hunting these down. I was really disappointed in 120 after it took me forever to get a couple of bottles. From your user name sounds like your in the Central Coast. I'm headed out to Firestone and Central coast brewery this weekend. cheers

Ive heard that three to four years is best for the 120. Been saving one since 2014

I think some made it out to Michigan with the immort release. I picked up a bottle also. Date was about 4 months old. Fish finder has some in my area delivered in the last 60 days.

mine said it was bottled in july if i recall correctly. drank it so i don't have the bottle for reference. i really wish they would just call this beer a blonde barleywine, the malt and alcohol are what makes this beer amazing long after the hops die off.

Grew up in SLO, went to undergrad at UC Santa Cruz, live in the Bay. Enjoy the Central Coast, still an awesome place when I visit.

You wanted to buy the beer, you bought the beer. Don't ever feel shame...
