FOBAB 2012 - November 17th

Looks like the price went up slightly, and they changed to more pours/fewer ounces than previous years, which I'm all for. I'm happy to be able to try more of the offerings.

Well i just found out that ill be at work when tickets go on sale..well this sucks

Well that sucks, I plan on being in the middle of a lake on a boat drinking some Oberon to close out the summer. Oh well.

 

tickets will not sell out by 1203pm or 1203 midnight the next day. y'all will be fine.

 

Sooo...is there a better time to go? 1pm gets rarer stuffed tapped?

Goose Island will be tapping their keg of Rare at one of the sessions, you just have to take a leap of faith at which one it'll show up at

That's why you buy tickets to both sessions!

 

i believe the first session beers will be put to stop (half way?) so that they don't finish. save some for the second session. by the second sessions, winners will be announced so people will flock to those first and will finish first. at the same time, either you try a winning beer on the first session, second session you might miss on a winning beer due to a big line.

pro's and con's to each session.

as far as my above statement, i hope they do the same with Rare.

 

Does anyone know how tickets work? I know they are non-transferable, but is it limit 1 or can I buy another for a friend as long as a specific name is attached?

 

which time are you going to? Im thinking 1 but a few friends will be going 6. Idk ill figure it out at the Gi block party when I talk to everyone.

I heard they decided to not sell tickets online anymore so I just wouldn't worry about it anymore.

 

I don't understand why some of you so are protective. So what if a new person comes in, sees this thread, and try's to go. Such wannabe elitism...

 

I would imagine you can buy 2+ at a time...anyone know for sure? Most likely, the person whose name is on the ticket will have to be with you for admission.
