PTY on tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks as of an hour and a half ago. 2 10oz pours per person. Also got Supplication, Temptation and Elder.

 

Was just at Boneyard two hours ago. Totally random wasnt expecting to have it on tap its pretty good. Almost made me consider trying IPAs again...

I like the way Boneyard does the release. They generally do it the same time each year but don't give any notice until it's tapped. This ends up rewarding people who live in that general area. There was no wait for beers and everyone was able to get 2 full pours.

 

Anybody see Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion around town yet ?

Looks like Citra beers will be coming out this week and next. Citra Showers on tap/growler fills at Noble. CitraHolic next week. Citrusinesis should be out now along with those who's lucky to grab the Citra DIPA bottles. Perfect for this El Nino year.

 

Is it any good? Ive read all the reviews. seems to be good reviews, only a common trend is that its faint on the bourbon (i like lots of bourbon/hot beers). Also, will it be everywhere on shelves soon enough since its year round? Or if i see it, get it now sort of deal.

 

its a mellow BA beer for sure, still worth picking up.

I am just kicking a cold that probably had something to do with all this dry hot smoggy air. AC on during the day and the heater on at night. Not good for ones' taste buds and nose.

Crazy tap list at Noble including the return of Nobility, the very first beer I had from Noble B.E….before Evan, that blew me away, basically their early take on a Citra DIPA, speaking of Citra, Citra Showers is not on for growler fills, bummer, tap only, maybe later. Bottles ofTongue Tickles, grabbed a few. Nelson Yum Yum still flowing.
