I did forget Atomic Liquors too, few blocks east of Fremont.

Aces & Ales (cab/Uber/car) is a must every year I go. I love Banger and Atomic and as we stay on Freemont they are easily hit up a few times. Pizza Rock is my all-time favorite.

Myself: Portland, Mt. Hood area, Bend in June. Going to need quite a lot of shipping materials. Might also drive Traverse City. I love beer vacations.

my gf mentioned something about taking a break and going to Aces and Ales one day. Obviously we're going to be on the Strip for the majority of the trip (since we've never been there) but I'm definitely adding it to the list

At the end of the tour they take you to a tasting room. It's been a few years, but, if I remember correctly, they give you samples, then let you choose a pint or 2. I think the tour was like $3, but what they gave you in beer more than made up for it. The only bad thing is that parking at the brewery is limited.

Edit - They also have root beer for the kids.

Going to Cape Cod for the first time in a few years. Looking forward to visiting Cape Cod Beer which had been a daily stop through many vacations, and also Devil's Purse which wasn't open yet last we were there.

Portland Maine, specifically Oxbow and Bissel Brothers. Grandparents live in Portland but always overlooked such places (foolishly).
Some Mass breweries, specifically Mystic and Nightshift.
And last but not least, another HF trip, possibly try to get some Alchemist and Lawson's.

Not really planning any brewery visits (except for Cellarmaker just up the freeway), but I am planning an epic camping trip to Yosemite, one of my favorite places in the entire world.

Planning to camp in the high country, either Yosemite Creek or Tuolomne Meadows. We are going to free hike down Tenaya Creek to natural granite waterslides, hike up the mist trail past Vernal and Nevada Falls, and summit either Half Dome (again) or Clouds Rest. And we're going to drink a ton of delicious beer. Will probably bring my Abraxas bottle and lots of other special ones to drink among friends.

    Can't wait!!!! Cheers BAs

10 days in VT/MA/ME/NH/CT in early August. Last time I was there, there was no Trillum, lawsons, barely a presence of alchemist. Fun open, no lined times. I fear what I may be getting myself into. I'm there for something other than beer. So I am not sure how to properly plan all this out. Any tips? Driving 2 hours each way is nothing. I live in NM. So the travel is not the issue. I fear the crazy scheduling for releases and such may hinder a great vacation. It's hard to turn off your beer blinders when you're just 1.5 hours away from stuff (2,100 plus miles away from home). So it will be interesting

Not as exotic as earlier posts but we go back to Indiana every Summer and Thanksgiving to spend time with my parents (they're not getting any younger). I "buy" my way across Ohio (so many great beers we can't get in PA - Ohio is a great beer state, IMO), hunt and gather/buy during our time in Indiana, then bat clean-up on the way back to PA in case I missed something going through Ohio the first time. ( Makes my wife and kids crazy at times but I'm the one doing all the driving which puts me "in the driver's seat" for beer foraging. :sunglasses: )

I may walk a block and buy a six pack of Westbrook Gose. Will take some planning, though.

Mystic is definitely worth a stop, as are all of your choices.

No travel plans, but my brother is coming up for the Great Taste of the Midwest this summer, so I guess he has summer beer vacation plans.

My wife and I only used one night of a two-night gift certificate to the Trapp Family Lodge, so at some point we'll head back up to Stowe, VT, to use the balance (and drink their fine lagers) and then revisit Waterbury and surrounding areas. Late in the summer I hope to visit my family back in Santa Cruz so I'll be looking to stop in at Sainte Adairius a few times, and my wife will probably want to spend a couple of days in San Francisco.

    So much beer out there.

Probably Dogfish Head/Rehoboth Beach like every summer. Best beer/beach family combo. Very relaxing.
