The taproom is really a can't miss. You should just give him a suggestion of the styles you are looking for and let him go from there. If I had to guess, the following will be on tap:

I have to think the lines for this release is somewhere between the previous (Equinox, AGE) and the Second Anniversary. What you think?

 

Were there lines for the previous one? It would be awesome if they made the early open a trend (a la Tree House), but I'm not sure how likely that is. Even if it's like Second Anniversary, you should be able to show up by 10 and still get a full allocation easily.

Alcohol: How Does it Works?

 

Tough to equate it to the previous release considering there wasn't even a line due to the early opening. I think this will fall in between a normal release and Second Anniversary. It definitely won't be any crazier than that and certainly won't be Street Green level.

For those saying they should open early all the time, I don't think that would cut down the line much. I think people would just start lining up even earlier. You're underestimating how much people enjoy OH beers.

 

Finally got to try Stacks on Stacks last night at Ginger Man. It kicked on Saturday at the taproom shortly before I got there. Have to say I think it's one of my favorite OH brews, right up there with AGE and GD. Enjoyed it more than 2nd Anny also. Loved the tropical aromas on the nose. Lots of citrus up front, and then the signature OH dry bitterness hits. Delicious!

 

I really hope they can Stacks at some point. A Mosaic & Stacks release in 2 weeks would be bonkers. Jussayin.

So much this. Stacks on Stacks in cans would be awesome. Outside of a bunch of the single hops, Stacks is my favorite OH beer that they've done on their own. Bummer to see if leave the taproom this week. Green Diamonds and Mosaic is President was on.

 

Wouldn't mind another Green Diamonds can release as well in the near future. One of my favorite OH offerings for sure. Would love to see if they crank it up a notch and make it a bit hazier (i.e. the latest AGE.)

 

Tried the Barrier Collabs last night. If you liked Hop Showers, Make it Rain tastes ALL HS to me...I couldn't taste anything that resembled Money. The Half and Half was really nice. Tons of roast nose/coffee flavors.

 

I actually thought Make It Rain tasted like a perfect combination of the two...kind of like if you took the front of Money and the end of HS. Got all the juiciness from money up front with that dry finish I've come to love from HS.

Either way, its awesome.

 

Mosaic is president is a killer. Straight grapefruit juice!

I know mosaic is on at a few places... I tried it at haymaker on 29th and 8th.
