And I was going to wait until after rush hour. There were two rush hours tonight. Good for them! Juggling numbers, if each person got the 6 limit, that's 120 ppl in an hour and a half. That's 45 seconds per buyer. And I wasn't one of them. I won't sit down for 4 days.

Who knew they'd have to adjust how they do releases so fast. I mean, not to make another Urban Monk argument, but I would hope they realize that maybe doing a silent release or a lower limit will help spread the love. If they are happy with this, more power and I'll have to adjust accordingly. Can't help but be a little upset when I see bottles for sale already though...

I got there at 3:50, only because I had somewhere to be at night and there was a line. It went quick and then steadily people came in and emptied out the rest. Not everyone bought the limit but certainly a lot of the usual folks getting 6. Good for AC, but I was shocked as well, figured it would last at least an extra day or 2.

Something told me I needed to be there at open. Glad I did this time. I missed the Popinski release because I thought it would last 4 hours. I learned my lesson that day. On the plus side, I ate at Ichicoro for the 2nd time in a week thanks to this release. #Ramen

So stoked for Ryan and that crew. You won’t find a better bunch and the beer is amazing.

The days of AC releases lasting more than a few hours are ovah! Get in quick or miss out, thats the plan going forward.

Or maybe AC will increase batch size to meet demand hopefully making this beer less desirable to second market buyers and hoarders? Man, I would just kill for them to do more growlers of special releases.

That's a true statement these days regardless of whether you got bottles ...

This batch sold out in a little over an hour...even if they double the batch size and cut limits in half, you're still looking at selling out the same day.

They could triple batch size and 1/6th the limit! I would be happy leaving with one bottle and it would draw more people to their taproom for a pint with a better chance at getting a bottle. Would be an interesting experiment. A lot of factors there.
Seems like they put a lot more on draft and less in bottles which is smart from the bottom line standpoint (draft products from the tasting room is where money is made not bottles even st $20 per).

I really don't know if it happens, but I think a lot of the product reaches the secondary market, making the POS customer a de facto distributor at no cost to the brewer. That is a good thing, but as Mr gjoker mentioned, we had great trips to Seminole Hts to pick up Cupcake and Popinski, having some pours while we were there. Now that the cluster has taken over, those trips are out. The one per is a great idea, but it also multiplies the brewer's transactions by 6. This whole beer scene is a beast I am not familiar with and will avoid. More beer for whomever. Please feel free to fire off the butthurt cracks, no pun intended.
