Lets see if there is an influx of FT: ABV Zhukov before the hype dies at huna day.

I received two wrist bands in the mail yesterday. I only purchased 1 ticket. The first one i tried to activate wouldn't work, the 2nd did activate. Anyone else have this happen too them? I'm going to bring them both just to be safe.

hmmm wonder what the other WHALEZ are going to be then if there is 3 more to go. I start the guessing game at apple brandy Huna. Maybe not a guess but wishful thinking.

Nice to see ABVMZ at Huna day. Now I won't have to sell my soul or trade my child for one of these "charity" bottles

I have a question for the Huna Day vets. I know there will be very long lines for the "whalez." Mornin' Delight, FO, AB Vanilla Zhukov, etc are all very hyped and will be hard to get. My question is what are the lines like for 3 Sons? Do you have to get there early in the day to get to try their stouts? They just announced what they're bringing and I'm very excited to try them, but because of how small of an operation they are, I would imagine they are off the radar for a fair number of people.

3 Sons won best Brewer and best beer at last year's Huna day. They are about as off the radar as the Kardashian family at this point.

Last year 3 sons had a steadily long line, but they brought enough of everything so that if you wanted to try any of their stuff you could as long as we're willing to wait in line for 10minutes or so. I suspect the same will be true again this year, but perhaps slightly longer. Definitely worth it though. Dude makes tasty beer.

3 Sons won best beer at Hunahpu day last year. They are definitely not off the radar. There will be a lot of people in their lines. Apple Brandy Summation? It will be one of the biggest lines of the festival.

3 Sons, TG, and CCB had the longest lines last year. Definitely not off the radar by any means.

Thanks for the input. Glad to hear haven't run out quickly in the past. I don't mind dealing with a bit of a line. Just wasn't sure if I needed to rush over there early in the day.

And to clarify, last year the craziest lines all day were still only like 15-20 minutes, at least when I was standing in them, which really isn't bad at all. Hard to say what will happen this year with a much larger crowd though.

I was one of the first 100 in last year. Everyone went straight for SR-71 and Summation. Those were the two longest and then CBS was 3rd.

I waited 10 minutes or so for SR-71 and then about 3-5 for Summation right after that. From there I just bounced around tent to tent.

That's similar to my plan this year. I've picked two beers that I really want to try and from there, I'll stick to beers I can't get locally in Texas. For me, it's all about trying new beers, meeting new people and enjoying the event. I'm sure I will stumble across some beers that I love at breweries I have never heard of.

Last year we picked up CBS (no line, well it was 10 to 11am) then did a power hour going in and out of the CCB (Ba table)
After that it was basically a blur!!! But I think with all the space and the number of brewers and taps I think the lines will be at a minimium. Well after the Nerds go after the whales.

CCB BA Taps are my favorite every year. So many heavy hitters in a row and my once a year mouth-dance with DBH.

The FT for the above now is ridiculous, if people don't bite the price will keep going down. I've heard it's good, but not great.

I wonder if Cycle will add a tap list, knowing that they usually don't even announce their bottle release flavors until day of.
