Assuming you are in The Swarm, it looks like next month will have a ton of bottles available

well, no not necessarily...they will hold them until the end of the membership...but if you want them this month, then yes tomorrow is your only chance.

as an aside, i was surprised to see comb sell out faster than quince. makes me think some people got a shitload of comb. the hive email said that they only had a few cases of quince, hence the 2 limit...

Got it backwards, copied from email.

"...we will put in the bottle shop a few cases of last year's Comb - a seasonal blend of sour ale."

Was at the dentist, would've loved to grab a couple bottles of Comb. Next time!
I'm looking forward to digging into the three for this month

"we only have a few extra cases of quince so we are putting a 2 bottle limit on these..." unless were looking at different emails...

Looks like different emails. Anyway, people didn't buy shitloads of Comb, just wasn't too many bottles available.

Has anyone had Comb? I was tempted to buy a couple but the $20 price tag and huge discrepancy in reviews I decided to pass

ah. probably hive vs. swarm emails then. surprising that they wouldn't put a limit if they had a small amount. but without limits im sure some people got quite a bit.

In Emily's e-mail to the Hive, she mentioned that they only had a few extra cases of Quince and would have a 2 bottle limit on them in the online bottle shop. They were still using their old system, hence the low bottle count. She also encouraged us to leave those bottles for the Swarm, and mentioned they there should be plenty available of all future offerings.

Had the 2015 Comb in November...if you added it to your bandwagon then you will not be disappointed

While I appreciate this sentiment i'm a big fan of trying for myself and coming to my own conclusions. Whats that old saying..one man's hell is another man's heaven...something like that.

Agreed. Comb, both years are great. First year (2014) is more sour (which is not a bad thing to me) and I'm still enjoying my bottles.

Not quite Hive related, but does anyone know if they'll still be selling bottles the first Saturday in March at the market in Cold Spring?

Per an earlier comment on FB, it would appear so. Anything can change though---

FEB. 6th MARKET CANCELLED: Hello all, we are sorry to report that we will NOT be at the Cold Spring farmers market this Saturday.

We are in the final stages here of getting the new brewery up and running. Unfortunately, as it so often happens with construction, the final stages are taking longer than we expected. It’s frustrating to be looking at all this beautiful new equipment just waiting to be filled up with beer… but as they say patience is a virtue.

We will DEFINITELY be at the next Cold Spring market in March. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

So if we don't pick up in NYC, when can we pick up? I don't think I really read that part.

You have 2 options. 1/ you can head up to the farm any time to pick up your allotment by coordinating with Emily or 2/ you can pick up at any future NYC drop off.
