Toss up between Resin and 4Beans but I think Resin takes it in the end. Hi-Res was really good as well.

    C.R.E.A.M. is in TX now!

    did you have Hi-Res yet?

no immediate plans for that area...but looking at LA now

    its definitely in SC

    that's the plan!

    what did you think?

you're in for a pleasant surprise this year..... Jammer 3.0 will have plenty of bite!

it has not been brewed/released yet....

looking forward to hear what you think of Jammer 3.0

gotta make sure you get to try Resin fresh....

Jammer will be in Iowa this year!

The Twin Cities already crushed some Hi-Res draft and cans are en route. I believe they should land in Minnesota on Monday!

Sixpoint and I have a touch and go relationship. I am underwhelmed with some, and I am delighted by others.

A lot of people seemed to dislike Jammer, but I loved that shit.

Bengali is always a solid jam.

Crisp almost tastes like their version of Gumballhead, a hoppy version of an otherwise lighter style.

4 Beans and CREAM were surprisingly very enjoyable.

Resin doesn't work for me anymore. Hopefully I'll catch some Hi-Res this year and re-evaluate.

I started off thinking about this question and my first reaction was 4Beans. But then I took another look though the list of Sixpoint beers I've tried (up to 11 now) and find that I have to give the edge to one of their retired beers.

The first version of Bengali was called Bengali Tiger, which I first had on tap in a craft beer only bar and thought was outstanding, enough so that I had another the next day. Apparently my opinion was shared by several other people since a couple of days later when I went back to have a third glass the keg had already kicked, not long after my second serving. The server, who had worked there for a few years told me that in her time at this bar she hadn't ever seen any other keg kick so soon after being tapped. While I've had Bengali, the revised version, a few times since then none of those portions has quite lived up to the first couple of servings of Bengali Tiger.

I've generally enjoyed all the Sixpoint beers I've had, the only one that would be near "best in class" for me though would be 4Beans. FWIW, if someone at Sixpoint is listening I had a pal tell me once that he never bought Sixpoint because he couldn't tell from the box what was inside. He's a Duvel man at heart and likes blondes and lighter IPAs and Pilsners and Tank7, but hates all darker beers, bocks, stouts and whatnot. He'd probably like The Crisp, but there's nothing on the box to tell him so.

The comment was made a couple years ago, perhaps you've redesigned the packaging - I never paid attention. But consider what you would have seen at the time, since usually only the spec sheet side of the box was visible on the shelf.

Had 4Beans last year and I was super impressed, very smooth and delicious. Would love to try resin and 5beans. Wish I could get these in AZ.

ah, I gotcha. Perhaps your friend has revised since the front and the side of the box has a style descriptor on it now....fwiw the 4packs you sent photos of have been out of circulation now for about 1.5 years!
