Finback Brewery (2018)

Yeah I went to the BA release and picked up my limit. Headed to a bottle share Saturday and was hoping to do a side by side. My Hangover will now determine whether or not i hit this one...

 

I'm pretty sure when I've been there a couple times they had a big sign up saying they have crowlers.

 

I've been over there to grab a Crowler fill before and I found the list to be extremely limited. They will only do a fill of beers that are available in 14 or 16oz pours on the regular menu. They're also quite expensive (like $17 for a 32oz). Almost everything that would be worth that price is an 8 or 12 oz serving on the regular menu, so it's ineligible.

Looks like AB BQE will be pouring at Fool's Gold's Stout event tomorrow night

 

Does anyone know if the brewery are or will be bottling their AB BQE ?

To add to the previous posts about 2pp limits, the bottles will be $16 per according to their IG post

 

Drinking an Oscillation 003 right now and it is awesome! Very dank with a good resin flavor but the end taste is like orange candy. Plenty of bitterness. Awesome!

 

This newest batch of Oscillation is absolutely outstanding.

 

Bump for today's release. Who else is heading there?

 

Debating it. Not sure if I can swing it after all the drinking I did yesterday. What are the chances of a line/shit show? Any chance of getting there, picking up bottles and a beer and being out in less than an hour?

I will say I drank the AB BQE at three or four different places since Thursday and it is damn, damn good. Really well done.

 

I was planning on it but after the 3 1/2 hour wait at OH yesterday I can't handle anymore lines

Are you joking? I've been to all the FB releases, and even the BA BQE/Oscillation release which was their largest only had maybe 100 people by opening. I was there not even an hour before, and was 20 people front the front. If this is true, it is horribly depressing. Either that or those 8 people are way overzealous. Was just talking to a friend yesterday that it won't be long before FB is the next OH. Sure hope this is not the day the flip switches.

 

Never underestimate the efforts people will go to for "special releases". Unfortunately an element of craft beer these days.

 

Im gonna head over at 12, planning to be there by 1. If I miss out oh well. Hopefully its on tap so I can at least try it.
