I just walked into a store in Buffalo NY on my way home and picked one off the shelf. Wasn't even looking for it. $17.95 and I was thrilled to get my hands on one. :grinning::grinning::grinning: The big question now is when do I drink it...... and how long to cellar it.

Very happy to see it at $14.99 in the Chicago area...some of these prices are getting out of hand.

As in too cheap? I paid $16.99 for 2 bottles 2 hours north of Paso Robles. I did see it a few days later at $14.49 per.

So happy to have finally found a bottle of my own! One of my favorites and it's always so limited in Lake County Illinois. I love this beer!

I was just in Paso Robles the other day and had it fresh off tap at the brewery and bought a bottle to age. It's absolutely fantastic off tap =)

I asked last week and was told they didn't know yet, though that shop said they only expect to get 6 bottles anyways.

You Cali BA's and your shelf turds. So jealous. :grinning:

Dumb question, Does this sit on shelves in the areas where it's distributed, or does it get snatched up pretty quick? My Dad is driving to TX and wonder if I should even bother putting it on the list of things for him to keep an eye out for.

Va Beach Total Wine had it Monday morning.

I'm only 2 hrs from the brewery and for the most part, Sucaba, Parabola, and Stickee Monkey bottles pretty much fly off of the shelves. I think Velvet Merkin spends the most time. I was surprised my normal haunt had 19th anniversary for a few weeks. Until I bought the last three, that is.

TX is a weird animal depending though... A friend in dfw passed over FW XVIII bottles while grabbing his 16 singles of kbs last year. Not all at once, obviously, but I'd say it's worth saying "hey, keep your eye out for these carboard boxes."

Most places in TX only get six bottles of FW's limited releases at a time. I wouldn't count on it. I've stopped concerning myself with them altogether.

I was finally able to find it. I went to Total Wine, and they had a few all the way up in the top shelf. I went to about 6 different stores before find it, but I'm glad I have one now. It was kinda hard to find... I can't imagine how difficult it will be to find their 20th anniversary.

Most of the time you won't see it. It wouldn't hurt to have him look, but don't get your hopes up. I have seen them in little liquor stores in beach towns along the coast. A local store near me still has it on their shelf...next to FW XIX. I asked the clerk how many they had....he said 6 total, I bought 2.

My brother lives 20 minutes from the brewery. He seldom, if ever, sees bomber releases.
