Looking to make a release one day. Details? How do they release beers? When? Where now that there are two locations.

 

Look at their facebook page. Must purchase a ticket to attend. Cost of ticket goes towards beer purchase. In the past, tickets go up for sale at noon on Wednesdays, releases are 12-5 PM on the following Sunday at their Marengo OH location

 

They are canning it this year! Will be a rotating offering with a different single hop each time. Can't wait!

 

Just got a trade shipment from my Ohio family that included We'll Do It Live and EWS Citra which I was not expecting. Can't wait to try these especially since Citra has been given really high praise.

 

Does anyone know if they distribute to Cincy area? Going to be there Easter weekend and looking for some goodies to pick up in addition to some Rhinegeist

 

Cappy's in Loveland gets a very small amount, usually a 2 can limit and it sells out on the day it lands, so the chances of you scoring it is pretty slim outside of a trade. If I have an opportunity I can likely go and get you two if we get any of the next release.

 

Could be wrong but I think there are still tickets for tomorrow's release available lol

 

Yep tickets are still available. Pretty telling how the previous release garnered so much more demand. I get it..if it isn't a 8+% juicy IPA look the other way (sarcasm).. Tub Life is a great beer in its own right. Should be a beautiful day up there tomorrow too.

 

I think there are so many tickets simply because the Nut Smasher release is the same day... A huge group of people I know that always go to Hoof are all at the Nut Smasher release tomorrow...

 

I would normally be at the farm especially on a beautiful day like tomorrow should be, but Nutsmasher only comes every so often and Tub Life isn't the hypest beer Hoofy's has done so far. It also helps Willoughby is less than 30 min away and Marengo is 1hr 30min.

 

Anyone know if they're having a release Sunday? I'm staying in Columbus Saturday night for the state wresting tournament

 

I want to say the next one is the 13th for Blabe again... But things may have changed from last I heard.

 

You don't make it to Cincy much, do you? lol

 

Obviously my picks are heavy with breweries I'm familiar with. There are several in the state I haven't had anything from. But to answer your question, I have been in Cincinnati 3-4 times ever, and maybe twice in the last decade.

 

For the record Cappy's in Loveland got a LARGE batch of Tub Life. 2 4 packs per person. They go on sale at 4PM today, no holds.

Yeah I made a call and they said no release this week. Hope that holds true. I will be coming back next weekend and hope to get a ticket for whatever release they have!

 

Just noticed one of the headlining stories on the cover of this months BA magazine is about Hoof Hearted and Trevor. That's awesome!

 

If your staying at Polaris, Afficianados on South Old State, just off Polaris Parkway, will be your best bottle shop and I've gotten HH there in the past as well as many other hard to find brews...Brass Taps and Matt the Millers are the best bars with nice selections up there...I'll also be at the Wrestling tourney all weekend and grabbing a few near campus between sessions...
