I've had Fat Tire probably once in my life and for the life of me I cant remember it. The prices on the bombers seem really cheap to me. Is there anything I should be looking to try from them?

How much of the Lips of Faith, if any, is running around? Any of the Tart Lychee by any chance?

Really depends where you are located that can answer what is available.

As for what is good and what isn't, BA has a great user review tool here that can give you a solid idea of the best stuff.

I work in Pontiac and I live in Holly.

I know I checked, I guess I was just looking for some opinions.

My local Kroger in Grand Blanc had Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, Trippel & Red Hoptober.

New Belgium just hit MI on Monday and so far all that is available is Fat Tire, Shift, Trippel, Ranger, Red Hoptober and Lips of Faith- Super IPA (collab w/ Alpine). Everything is only available in bombers so far except Shift which comes in 4 packs of pint cans.

Lips of Faith- Super IPA is very good IMO, Ranger is quite good also, Shift is a solid pale lager, Fat Tire is an average amber ale I guess and I'm going to give the Trippel and Red Hoptober a shot tonight.

I think the super IPA is definitely my speed. The Trippel is also pretty highly rated on here so I think Ill give that a try too.

I don't know if it's in stores or not, but the website from Clubhouse BFD in Rochester has Biere De Mars listed as available as well.

Honestly, La Folie and Shift. Everything else is average. Havent had Super IPA yet.

La Folie is 14.99 down here in NC, but I hear thats on par in most places. On draft it was around $7, but Ive only seen that twice.

EDIT Red Hoptober and Hoptober were pretty solid.

La Folie is awesome, I enjoyed Trippel, and Ranger in cans is real tasty. I can say I have never had a New Belgium i DIDN'T like. At the worst, you get average.

My friend from Colorado brought me back some La Folie, Brett Beer, and Biere De Mars. Honestly, I don't think that I would regularly buy Brett Beer or Biere De Mars. Having said that, La Folie is great, as is Tart Lychee.

La Folie is damn good; it hasn't hit MI yet though.

Ranger is solid, nice canned option to have in Michigan. I do not go crazy about a lot of their regular line up but it is worth checking out at the very least.

Lips of Faith series is where my money will be spent, the series is by far where they do there best work.

With all this talk about La Folie, I guess I have to be the guys to disagree. I cannot drink the beer without picking up some tomatoey, ketchupy flavor. Everything else is there to make it a great beer but this one little flavor stands out to me and I cannot get past it. It is just not for me.

The Lips of Faith Le Teroir was my gateway into sours and I must say it was quite delicious.

I tried the tripel and red hoptober last weekend and I thought they were both pretty good. Nothing mind blowing but good none the less.

thats my go to beer down here at Ale House in Durham. I cant stand Ranger, and Fat Tire is either awesome or very very bad.

Sorry man, didn't know you were in Mich. Ranger and Super IPA are definitely the best of the bunch right now.
