    just moved to Bed Stuy from Park Slope (I'll miss you Mission Delores). Any good recommendations in the Bed Stuy or Bushwick area?

    Berg'n is also a solid spot, although just beyond Bed-Stuy reach in Prospect Heights.

    I second that. Their 2 or 1 on insane craft beer is insane during happy hour. Absurd number of taps, with some killer options.

    Tried out The Well, thanks for the rec! Cool place, but I'm always a little leery about places with THAT many taps. How fresh can their stuff really be?

    I was there for the Rye-on-rye(-on-rye) night a few days ago and it was nice. Great selection, nice crowd and service. I would also throw in Mekelburgs (Grand Ave bw Clifton Pl/Greene Ave) though it's in Clinton Hill.

    I was there too! What did you think of the Ryex3? I loved it, pretty much carbonated rye.

    It was great, but I preferred the Rye x2. They were both distinct enough that I could appreciate qualities of each.

    @BrooklynBeer4 - Are you also @esturni ?

    Bizarre that @esturni has already had threads closed for essentially coming on BA to market his own bar (The Wilky), then two days ago a new account gets created, which as only started two threads - this one (in which you ask about bars in your area and then sing the praises of the Wilky immediately before badmouthing another bar's tap management) and this one, wherein you start a NEW thread to again praise the Wilky.

    If you are, this is not the way to drum up business. Be a community member here, post interesting content, and be honest about who you are. BAers will then WANT to come in to meet you, talk to you, and talk about beer with you. But this backhanded advertising is pretty shallow.

    Apologies if I'm wrong, but otherwise your posting habits are bizarrely timely, to say the least.

    @MisterBisco I have no idea who esturni is, although I am new on BA. I'm also new to Bed Stuy, and live right around the corner from the bar and love it and want to see it stay... that's pretty much all. Did not badmouth anyone, was trying to start a discussion on bars with tons of taps, that's it! Thanks for your concern, I guess?

    Im going to take a guess and say they are the same person, or at least associated with The Wilky. @esturni has been absent from this thread but active in all the other recent bushwick/bedstuy threads popping up recently. And @esturni posted an article he wrote in another thread about Park Slope beer bars, including Mission Delores, that this thread started by mentioning. Just seems like more than a coincidence, that's all.

    Hey all. I DID post a thread talking about the bar I work at, it got taken down and I now understand the rules. I've stayed out of this and other bar related threads because of that. Also, I AM in fact a beer blogger and have written lots of articles. I'm happy to talk to anyone on here or at the bar, including @BrooklynBeer4 and @MisterBisco ... Drinks are on me. We love beer, not drama!

    Love love love.

    Though I wish they hadn't gotten rid of Geeks Who Drink trivia. They were literally the perfect location for it since their taplist is always incredible unlike most bars with good trivia.

    FYI, they started a new trivia night a few months ago, Tuesdays at 8. And yes, much love to The Well, kinda slept on but I'd rather drink there than anywhere else in North Brooklyn.

    I went to the Well for the first time last weekend and had the Abraxxas on tap. First time trying it but the spices tasted sharp and even pungent for me at times. Is that normal?

    Bartender said it's been on tap for two weeks
