They just did a Breakfast IPA that had coffee in it, but think it rang in somewhere around 7ABV.

One of my favorite spots and I'm heading to this event. I'm hoping some of their Barrel Room beers make an appearance there since I'll miss the @voodoobrewery release day.

I thought that was a pretty great kriek, although it had more of a farmy, manure-like aroma than i've ever smelt in a lambic before. It was real musty too. I'd like to have a bottle or two for the cellar.

Pacific Pine back on draft at Roundabout. My wife said "this smells like weed".

I heap a fair amount of shit on full pint (deservedly so), but have to say I've never minded gus...and even better on cask at pipers...also really enjoyed four season's high hopes IPA. First four seasons beer that I remember not trying to just power through so I could order something else. Honorable mention to all saints Noah as well. Not bad at all.

Praise for three local breweries in one post? What is this thread coming to?

Also, I heard you can park in the Church parking lot if there isn't an open parking spot near Voodoo. Not sure how that helps since we don't offer a shuttle service, but go for it.

In beer news, just a quick announcement that we have gotten a lot of positive feedback for our Amarillo and Citra hopped Renegade Black IPA lately, I'm curious if anyone here tried it and if so, your impressions. Also we have our Irish Stout now on nitro at the pub and starting next Thursday we kick off Green Week for the restaurant with a tapping of our Irish Red. Erin go bragh and all that.

We are also gearing up for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, we should have collaboration beers and PA specific stuff and just a general turnover of several taps right around the middle of April.

Other than the source, where can I get said black IPA (ugh...black ipa??? Seems like a waste of Amarillo and Citra...why drown them in dehusked carafa??? :slight_frown: )?? If I can grab it somewhere near me, I'll give it a whirl...

Hmmm, what direction are you from the city? The only place I know for sure that had a keg on (at least as of last weekend) is D's but I can ask tomorrow and see if there is somewhere closer to you that got a keg.

    North. Way north.

I'm guessing pig iron or cranberry mad mex are my only chances.

Looks like Bocktown Monaca and some place Franklin Inn Mexican Restaurant that I know nothing about both have it on at least according to recent Untappd check-ins. I'll still ask tomorrow and see if there is any place a little further north that has it on.

Happy to hear Franklin inn is getting some love.......

We get neglected up here cause we're not ultra hip redevelopment material...it's cool...I'm used to it. :slight_frown:

Pardon the speculatory comment, god forbid I get a fourth fuckin warning point for it... but, given the Southern Tier/Victory merger, and the incoming Southern Tier brewpub on the north shore... could we hope for something special of their's tied in there too?
