I saw that...not a huge fan of the new label, but to each his own.

Agreed. I liked the old one with the kitchsy eastery look. Plus it's the one Jesus prefers.

Crimson Snapper distro next week. Anyone know why it's listed as retired on BA?

Whoever entered it into the site probably listed it as one-off release, which automatically gives it the "retired" designation at some point.

Very happy to be in possession of a couple of bottles of CS. It's probably a function of more capacity and more beers on the shelf to choose from, but I sure do enjoy not having to sweat the non-BA special Pipeworks releases.

Remember having the last batch of Crimson Snapper and still blown away by the recent one. This beer gets better as it warms up. Super smooth. Must get more.

Yeah, there were a few months when tracking down the fish releases was the worst. I remember grabbing a bottle of...maybe Crimson Snapper, actually, about an hour after they hit WLV, and they were almost out already.

There is definitely more Crimson Snapper than the last release but they are still flying off the shelves quickly. I went to four stores and was lucky to grab eight bottles.

Are these still on shelves anywhere? I was out of town this week and don't get back until 5pm tonight.

Some places just got them yesterday, so you might be able to find some. That is if Brother_Love hasn't made his way to those stores yet

Don't worry I'm good. Hey it's my all-time favorite and who knows when it will be released again so I couldn't resist on stocking up. I think it was only released twice last year.

There was plenty of it at Binny's LP yesterday. Not as much as I've seen in the past for other fish series beers, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got another shipment in tomorrow. Ever since PW expanded production, Binny's LP has had cases upon cases of each of the fish series bombers available later in the week.

That fact that you were not only allowed, but able to grab 2 per store (and had time to get to 4 stores) still sounds pretty good to me!

I understand completely. I'm too busy loading up on Todd the Axeman to go too crazy with the CS right now.

I'm kind of in the same boat when it comes to Axeman. But I think Axeman is going to pop up more often like Abrasive did during the winter so I will hopefully get my chance to load up.

did either of you notice a difference between the 2/12 and the 3/2 batches? the second batch doesn't seem to have the reddish yeast floating and is not as sweet.
