Yeah, I'm finding my stops are more and more infrequent like yours, and don't really shop around at all, so I'm not necessarily comparing anyway. I'm not familiar with the shops previously mentioned, but just hate running into those shops that have the obnoxious practices, be it price gouging, refusing to sell as mentioned above, starting ludicrous beer clubs, etc.

Those things just take a lot of fun out of what is such an enjoyable hobby/whatever you want to call it the vast majority of the time.

True, not to go all 'freakanomics' on you... But if you do this through out the year with just 9 other things. That's $780. Which is about (give or take of coarse) one's monthly mortgage. If you make one extra payment per year. You turn a 30 yr. mortgage, into a 22. yr mortgage. Don't you know how to build wealth? Read a Warren Buffet book! Haha. I regress. Point is, You shouldn't really over pay for anything ever. Back to beer, Any one know what Fat Heads will bottle next? Think 'Hippy Sippy' or 'Pro. Paul' will ever be bottled?

New to Ohio (or me, at least) - Dogfish Head Romantic Chemistry & Great Lakes Fridge Filler Variety Pack. Both stocked warm (boo) and currently chilling for this weekend. I have high hopes for the former, considering I loved their last additive IPA - Pennsylvania Tuxedo. The latter, I'd be happy drinking just the Lawn Seat and Holy Moses, but there's some new IPAs to try..

Man, 2 pages and almost nothing to do with New to Ohio beers. Come on guys. Has anyone tried the entire Prairie Funky Gold line? Only had Simcoe so far, but damn was it good! Also, cool seeing new Dogfish beers out now between Romantic Chemistry and Beer to Drink Music To.

I never understood Lizardvilles six pack pricing. If they get a ton of a single beer in and you want a six pack they won't charge you the going rate for the six pack...they will charge you for six upcharged singles. What a joke! The beer there is usually pretty old too. I get that the selection is probably second to none but I would rather go somewhere with a smaller selection like Rozis where I know the product is actually maintained.

I still want to do this sooner than later. So far this year we've been working on getting new tanks, a bottling line, and new keg washer on line. Fwiw the Dire I hoped would be bottled last month all went into barrels, so I hope that's some comfort. We filled more bourbon and rum, plus sherry and port.

Bodhi, Creeper, 46&2 Session Black IPA, Barrel 57 (woodford reserve aged Imperial Stout), and 2 different Bodhi casks!

Yes. This is true. The above is the beer list for Winter Warmer fest in CLE tomorrow, and it's published on their FB page I think. Creeper features some new hops this go round, which is fun. And tasty. The barrel aged stout is ridiculously drinkable and awesome. The two Bodhi casks will be Citrus Blast and Breakfast Bodhi (Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans).

Creeper bottles WILL happen, just not for a few months. We're still installing the new bottling line. Hoping to have it up and running sometime in early-mid April. Bad news is....we are already brewing at capacity in the new facility and have more fermenters on order, due for early June delivery. We do not have a timetable for Bodhi, Creeper, etc bottles. It WILL happen, we just don't know when. If at all possible, we'll see those start in late Spring. However, it is very possible too that we may have to wait for the additional capacity to kick in before we can brew enough of those beers to bottle. Will keep everyone updated as much as we can.

Creeper kegs are being filled as I type this. Kegs will start to see distro next week.
