How is it that FW still hasn't corrected this problem after so many years?

We all have heard its something very unique and delicious. The fact that they can't get it on shelves is pathetic. Cant even find it on tap in OC/LA and i have a slew of world class taps around me like Beachwood, Simmzys, Congregation, etc etc. The absolute mind boggler is that this while new series is based on the same platform as Stone's Enjoy By to a degree, they are releasing a new series/recipe of this every 90 days and as the glossy marketing brochures tout, its meant to be drunk super fresh. How is that even possible when it/if finally hits distro half way through the freshness cycle. Maybe they should call Stone and learn about distribution. I'm losing enthusiasm for this new program every day, how can this be available on the east coast for a few weeks now and So Cal is dry ?

    Cheers…….

I was being a smart ass but I agree here. We're way too close to FW to be waiting weeks for new releases to come out. Doing the Sierra Nevada move and pre-aging it is not a win for anyone.

Agreed it's poppin' right now. Happy to see that they (seemingly) fixed the problems they had last year.

To Sierra Nevada's credit they date when they bottle but it is my understanding that they bottle condition all of their beers so it if they did get their beer out on shelves in a week or less from the package date, people would be complaining about under carbed beers.

I picked up all of the new Modern Times releases last night, only cracked one Booming Rollers but it is tasting really, really good. Better than last year for sure.

I've got all the new releases staring at me every time I open the fridge. Really pumped to hear BR is on point.

Pretty nice east-coast style (think Julius) triple IPA pouring right now at Bottle Logic = Triple Zero. Weighing in at 10.7% ABV, it's definitely got that JUICY front with a somewhat malty finish (hazy look too). Pretty unique style to the OC area so jump on it if that's your sort of thing.

Is it different from Zero Day? I had that and was not a fan.

It is ... Bigger beer, making it a triple ... and they added some kind of a yeast that gives it a Julius JUICY flavor profile. It's a tad hot & malty, nothing offensive and true to the east coast style IMO

Nice Ill have to check that out, if it's triple it'll be like King Julius. Cloudy boozy unfiltered juiciness ahhh.

Not sure if anyone is interested...KBS is on tap at First Class Pizza in Irvine right now. $9 for 10oz pour...little pricey.
