HiRes and Surly Todd at Shorewood Liquor. Still a few Dosvidanya, both barrels. Plenty of CWBBW. A few Fair State BBRIS

Saw that Sunday Morning Stout hit the Nova on Twitter today and called them about it. Gone in 30 min. Are there really that many beer geeks in Hudson that can get there that quick or do some TC people have light speed features on their cars? Its nuts how rapidly stuff sells out there for limited releases. Are they keeping some for their Cave fests?

Sad that this sold out in 30 Minutes , it is the state of release's now people buy quantities to trade as a commodity's as futers it is what it is now.

So, apricot vista comes out next week. Can we not talk about it at all and hopefully everyone that wants some can get it? I'm sure there will be a ton around, but it seems if it gets posted as it arrives people go crazy for it.
There has to be a better way...
Can we start a private thread for only members? Then again I've heard this is no Peach, so those hoarders might get stuck with it.
I guess we'll see how it goes.

I think the other problem with peach is that the yield was very low. Hopefully they made a s-ton of it and it will shit on shelves for months.

I thought I remember them saying the yield for apricot was low as well...aka we made less so people would lose their shit for it...

...says the trader. Seriously though, this beer is insanely good. Last year a friend offered to send me all I wanted & I requested just a four pack or two, then kicked myself once I tasted it. Sunday Morning Stout is a world-class beer, & brews like that simply don't sit on shelves for very long.

I haven't had this year's batch, so I have no idea what it's like. Last year's batch put KBS to shame, IMHO.

Last years KBS was horrendous though, so that's not saying much.

Anyone who is familiar with the boubon market, will see that this rare beer trend can only get worse...
Too many flippers. Too much demand. To little time. Too many inferior products. Too little knowledge.

Even the non-flippers go crazy when a store lets them buy the entire inventory. Seeking something out like this is an addiction. The mindset is: "I'll never see this product on the shelves again", and "I can't believe this is still available" are common themes. I suffer from this same addiction. When $20 a bomber seems legit, we have a problem...

We all have FOMO, in 10 years, it will be an "actual" disease, much like "sex addiction"

definitely 'preceived' vs 'real' . and how about the 'Veruca Salt syndrome' or 'Hoarding' ? back to the bottle hunt. Itasca still around?

Rare beer will never equal rare Bourbon. Much harder to make the later.
