Dark Lord Day 2016

Haven't been in years, but not for lack of trying. Shut out again! 2ppl, 4 screens, no luck. Sent to the queue every time and they all ended in a bunch of crap after 1/2hr. Next year....

 

Group B. First time going to DLD - totally stoked.

 

Group D, first time for me. Gonna need to read up on the bottle share fun.

 

Same thing happened to me and my friends.

 

Super stoked that I'll be attending my first Dark Lord Day this year!

 

I do believe my new Thursday bottle share buddies got an extra ticket so I'll get to go for the first time!

 

I'll be looking to trade for DL...or of someone has an extra guest ticket, let me know

 

Unless I'm wrong, the event opens for everyone at the same time. The groups are when you pick up your allotment.

 

Got me and my lady group E tickets, coming in from Carson city, nv! Super stoked!

 

I have resorted to trying to buy a guest ticket and be somebody's "date". Maybe one will surface around my area in the next few days. I will be asking around.

 

If you're close to the SW burbs The Open Bottle in Tinley Park had a shuttle last year and they confirmed they'll have one again.

I was shutout on tickets this year. Fortunately my buddy got two for group C. So that would make it group a, b and c over the past three years.

 

So excited that after going for the first time last year our group of 4 managed to get in this year as well. Cant wait!

 

So has anyone tried entering early, and then exiting and re-enerting with your guest?

 

Cool thanks for the info, bought two tickets for the 830am departure, its about the same distance from the brewery for me but should be easier than driving to Chicago in the morning, can even have the girlfriend drop me off.

 

Man that was a stressful 1/2 hour queue in line! First time going (group D) Only order that went through was the "Best available" one. No dice on groups A and B

 

No but should be fine, seemed like they were checking birth dates more than matching tix

 

No thank you! I didn't realize the tickets were already up on their site. My buddy and I are leaving on the 8:30 shuttle as well. We'll do some bottle sharing on the bus. Cheers!

 

Did you use this last year? The website doesn't really day if they send tickets in the mail or emaIl, or if its just a give us your name at the bus.

 

Anybody else see this? Seems conflicting with when you can get your allotment.

 

You get a receipt in your email. Small place that will check you when you there on DLD.
