Outside of what's been mentioned, the Funky Buddha fruit Berliners are worth trading for. Not sure the availability, but they need to be in this conversation.

I was disappointed in this one - still think the best ones I have had have been in Berlin (Kindl Weisse).

Im an extract brewer so i do a slightly modified "sour mash". what i do is disolve my dme at about 170, cool it down to 110, throw in a handfull of base grain in a muslin bag, flush the pot with co2, float a layer of sanitized plastic wrap on the liquid, and stick it in the oven with the light on for 2 days. then on brewday i boil for 15 min with the hops to isomerize the alpha acids and kill all the bugs to keep the wild stuff out of my system. i dont get any funky smells from this method. if youre an all grain brewer you can do tye same thing by mashing and sparging then souring the wort once ot is separate from the grain.

Their Blue Lady (blueberry Berliner) is due to be released soon (they haven't said when yet). Then they are doing a sour mango wit beer. Not a sour beer but rather they're using sour mango extract/flavor in the wit beer.

Bonnie the Rare, Bear Republic Tartare, and Bell's Oarsman (for what it's worth) are three that I've had over the past year and would gladly have again. Heretic's Tartuffe (bottled) was decent, but forgettable.

victory made one called alla spina via weiss that's decent. it's a lot better than the festina peche in my opinion. havent had the tartare yet. where can that be found?

If it's still on tap next time I'm in the area I'll send out a bottle of Portsmouth BW. I thought it was excellent and it's only 2.8%.

Not sure how far it goes, but Crabtree from Greeley CO has the best one I've ever had. I think it was a GABF gold winner, too. Not my favorite style, but an excellent one nonetheless.

My wife loves Berliners and her favorite is the draft-only one from Great Divide. They bust it out regularly in their taproom and at events, so it wouldn't shock me to see it bottled at some point.

Another honorable mention goes to Carton's Monkey Chased the Weasel. Excellent stuff, super drinkable, and with this nice lavender citrus aftertaste. Amazing.

I have a bottle of this in my fridge right now, this is one of those styles I'm not very familiar with and look forward to getting an education on something new.

Please report back. I have a feeling you will like it. That's definitely a good first. I believe it was my first as recommended by Stakem, guy got me hooked on them.

I bought it about three months ago. I noticed there's no dating on the bottle, what kind of shelf life does this stuff have? Does it age well? I've been at this game for a long time but this style is a new one for me so I guess I'm officially a "newbie". I'll soak up any input I can get.

I had a Fort Collins Berliner from a growler this summer that was better than I'd have expected. Reviews seems to be down, but the keg I was served from was more tart than the average Berliner and exceptionally dry. I was impressed, especially given the brewery.

It seems like this style is starting to become more popular. I'll admit that I was unfamiliar with the style up until a few months ago when I had my first 1809, now it seems to be poopping up more and more (Oarsman, Deesko!, Pipeworks, DFH Peche, etc). Granted this is a summer style beer so it should be more prevalent this time of year. Or maybe it's just that now that I'm familiar with the style I notice it more. either way I'm glad because I really enjoy Berliner Weisses

I really hope Stakem chimes in for this answer, I know he made a post about it recently if you check his post history.
I believe they can take age well for being so low alcohol but don't quote me.
