Correct. I was able to score a '14 DL via this route. Didn't get a chance at Portuguese Brandy version but was happy with '14 none the less.

With frozen water bottles I'd say up to 6-8 comfortably could probably squeeze a few more in if you really wanted.

I have been hyping up this backpack cooler for years now - still use the one purchased way back in 2012: http://www.amazon.com/Igloo-Softsid...7357486&sr=1-1&keywords=igloo+backpack+cooler

While, originally, it wasn't camo, now apparently it is all camo, and the blue/black combo that was originally available seems to be a thing of the past. This backpack holds 6 bombers, has enough room in pockets for openers, keys, etc., and even has pockets on the sides where a couple cans can fit.

So essentially, the thing holds 6 bombers and 2 cans, or twenty 12 oz beer cans.

I second that particular bag, if you want to do this thing on the cheap. I'm not sure I've ever maxed it out with bombers, but I know I've filled it with a few pounds of ice + a few 32 oz. bottles of gatorade + a couple other alcoholic odds and ends (what's a beach with no buzz?). The bag itself is also pretty sturdy for $20, so I've got nothing bad to say about it.

Noticed that the Variants are first come first served.. does that just mean that everyone in Group A will be choosing Vanilla Dark Lord? Just wondering if there will be a scratch off portion to this part. Pretty sweet everyone gets a Variant, just not sure the likelihood of the later groups getting a "better" variant

I'll have to test how much stuff we can fit into it tonight. Thanks!

Vanilla Bean Dark Lord will be gone with Group A. I think it was gone with Group A even with scratch off last year (certainly wasn't around for Group C).

However, many other variants are exceptional. I think the Cognac Coffee DL was excellent. That one lasted into group C.

Vanilla was definitely around for group B last year and may have been around for the beginning of group C. Who knows how FFF will handle it this year, but it appears that the DL lines should run a hell of a lot smoother since no cash or scratch-offs are needed. Let's hope no one tries to screw the system again.

Ok, great! I'm Group B so that would be pretty amazing to score that one, only had it in 2013 when it was on draft at DLD for all of 10 minutes... still the very best beer I've ever had.

Anyone see early bottle counts/ or ticket counts?

I got vanilla in Group C last year. I was probably one of the first 100-150 in that group

Maybe some hope after all past Group A then.

I was in Group C (probably second half of the group) and VBDL was gone when I asked.

You can just meet your guest at the gate. You don't have to enter for the first time at the same time, but you do have to be at the gate to show your ID to match the name on their ticket. So as long as the person who's name is on the tickets enters first, they can come "let you in".

So what are the odds that the reason why there is so much BA this year (1 for everyone) is that FFF made a ton more vanilla?

Got Group A x2. Third year in a row for me getting two Group A's. I feel very fortunate. Always use the fiber connection at my office, I'm convinced it helps.
