Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

This might be one of the worst beers I've ever tried

 

Can't find them now, but whomever was looking for Boulevard Bourbon Quad, I just found 3 extras in the cellar. Now on the shelf at Shorewood Liquor!

 

I'm just stating how hard it is to find anything, because of hoarding.

 

When I first heard of Wabasha Brewery, I assumed it was in Wabasha, not in St Paul

Any signs of apricot vista in the metro yet?

 

Shorewood Liquor also has a bottle of Surly Brett Mikkels left

Did Minneapolis get a newish batch of PsuedoSue? Or do I have to go to Hudson for that?

is there a reliable place for bottle counts on releases from Breweries? this would definitely help with looking for beer

 

Usually no reliable place, but super crazy speculation.

I'd say roughly 1,000,000 bottles of Apricot Vista were made, so please calm down people.

 

Plus, it's good, but not rush out have to have it right now buy up a whole stockroom full of it good.

 

So it's not Starkeller good? Because I absolutely loved Starkeller, and was hoping this would be the apricot-equivalent.

 

I did not think so.

 

Having had it twice now, it is not close to what Starkeller was.

 

AVista reminded me of a session version of Starkeller when I had it at WinterFest, wasn't terribly blown away by AV, Anyone know the price ? At $16-17 I don't think I'd buy more than 1

 

I had it this weekend at the Food and Wine fest and would also put my hat in the ring of unimpressed. So sad...
