Um, actually it is when you're coming from New York and don't have a car. We were planning to spend 2 of the 4 days at the fucking pool. Thank god I paid more for the ability to cancel. Switching hotels now.

 

Was just making that edit when you posted this. Good catch. I scraped the site to build the list, so having the beer listed as "TBD" put them in the "announced" category.

 

They put this "Guide" out for Huna Day.


I am glad they thoroughly explained where the entrance will be (By this big sign) WTF. I have no clue where that is in relation to the Marriott ...... And the map on the app sucks right now.

 

Google Maps street view tells me it's right before you get to the Amalie Arena:

He said it's at the intersection of Old Water and Morgan St. Looks like it will be on the west side of tent A.

Looks like my hometown brewery, Troegs is no longer coming either. Not that it really matters....lol

 

I think one would have to work really hard to get lost Saturday AM. The nature of that park -- essentially a funnel shape sandwiched between a road and a channel -- is such that the flow of foot traffic will lead you to the right place. I'm also guessing TPD will have a large presence, which is a good thing. It'll be the first Hunahpu downtown but not their first rodeo handling big crowds in that area.

hey, this is steve lol. when do you fly in and where are you staying? im thursday-monday, staying at the super 8 in clearwater thursday and friday, the marriott across the park saturday, not sure about sunday. sounds like there is a big share at coppertail on thursday, im open for friday night as well tho

 

I fly in Friday around 6pm and staying at the Marriott next to the event. Leave Sunday morning. Real quick in and out trip this year with the baby here now. Next year will be back to a full week and I bring the family down.

the map on the app posts like 6 X's. are those supposed to be entry points?

 

I believe those are where it's going to be blocked off and the only entry point is between the third and fourth X

 

Or they might be emergency exits. I can't imagine they will have 3000+ people in a small fenced in park with only one way to leave.

Or WILL they?!
