I haven't had this latest batch of Mosaic, but I'm wondering if they decided not to can it after an early taste. Looking forward to picking up some Galaxy next weekend.

In other news, Citra is tasting REAL nice after only one week in the fridge.

Came to visit Other Half this weekend on Saturday, and had a great time as usual. Mosaic was really good, but not quite as good as some people have made it out to be in the past- might be the batch of it. Citra was mind-blowing, but my favorite beer of the day had to be Make it Rain- I thought it was so soft and juicy, with a really nice bitterness on the back end- like biting into a hop cloud. So so so good.

I also thought the brewery cat was great, just chillin' in the center of the table, not a care in the world. Does anybody know if the cat has a name?

Small Green popping so hard. Love that beer. So dialed in right now.

Yeah - had this on tap on Saturday and also had Mosaic. Mosaic was super green and abrasive and SGE was really really nice. Wanted to fill a grower of it at Milk & Hops but I only have 750s or a 1 liter instead of a 32 oz.

They posted some dudes's haul on Instragram recently and he'd filled several HF 750s. I don't know their official policy, but I think they're pretty accomodating.

Whatever happened to the Street Fruit collab? Any chance JWB brings a keg of it for their tap takeover?

I guess I've always thought my 1L growlers were 32 oz, so I've been getting some bonus OZ's haha!

What's everyone's expectations for Get Wheated? This isn't typically my style, but I haven't hand many OH beers i'd turn down. Also curious about the Imperial factor of this beer. It makes me think this will lean more towards the DIPA category with a wheat aftertaste (well within the OH wheelhouse.)

If it's anything like Kane's Hop Lab Simcoe Wheat ipa we're in for a treat. Loved that beer when I tried it a few months back

Expectation for Saturday: Cloudy with a side of sleeping until 11am for the first time in months.

But in all seriousness, I wouldn't expect it to be any less congested than the last releases. People flock to these releases like its food rations given out after a major natural disaster. OH has great beer but in no way is it worth waiting in line for 3 hours minimum dealing with entitled beer geeks claiming epic bottle shares and driving off afterwards while putting other peoples lives in danger.

I wasn't really asking what the expectation for Saturday's line would be, more along the lines of what people expect the beer is gonna be like.

Apologize for being a newb, but will there be any cans left on Sunday? Can't get there Saturday. Only had green diamonds from a buddy. I'll be in Manhattan on Sunday, if cans are gone should I go and get a couple growlers?

Cans will more than likely be gone...there is a tiny chance some will last into Sunday. You should go regardless though, they have a really solid list of beers available for fills right now.

    Gents,
normally i do the work of checking the old forum or previous pages to find out, but frankly I just don't want to today.
Can somebody who went to the last can release just let me know how it was? I believe it was Citra and Make it Rain. It everything sell out quickly? how long were waits? Were people able to show up at 1/2 and kinda just walk up and get like it used to be?

There was a line from early morning and the wait was generally about 3-4 hours but it didn't sell out all that fast. I have a friend that arrived at 1 waited an hour in line and was able to walk away with the full allotment.
