The Binny's stash is gone.

 

I had a couple of pours of Regal Rye at Fulton Street taproom. Was delicious.

They also had reg and BW on draft.

 

Any idea why a second round of bottles is suddenly appearing?
Does this open the possibility that more will be distributed in other states as well?

 

If you are referring to the Mokena Binny's people are talking about, it didn't open until after Black Friday, but I guess the distributor held some back for that store once they opened. Binny's probably requested ahead of time for that store to get an allotment.

Anyone know if Fulton is still doing bottle exchanges? I haven't been able to make it down from Milwaukee until this next weekend, but I heard they might be out? Thanks in advance!

 

Not exchanging any longer. Weekend before last was the end of it I believe.

Anyone know if the Goose Bar at the Chicago Stadium is going to do something similar to last year's releases?

Yes, they will be doing this again. I heard they will be tapping each of the original batches (92-94) with each of the first 3 rounds. The only catch is you have to acquire a time machine, set it to 1994, then watch the Hawks lose to the Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals.

I wasn't poking fun. I can see how it seems that way though. I just happened to pull out a name from that time period. I'm actually a die-hard Red Wings fan [ducks].

 

Wow, I just found a Prop for near MSRP. I asked if they had been sitting on it and the guy said no and that they received a half case yesterday. I sure wonder how much longer this stuff is going to keep showing up?

 

Anyone go to Capone's the other day (can't remember if it was this week or last week) when they put some of the 2010 BCBS out for sale? I'm assuming it was a mess, but wondered how it ended up and how much they even had for sale.

 

I was there later that night and asked, he said it wasn't much of a mess, people lined up about 15 minutes early, and he had 18 bottles for sale, 1 per person.

 

Well, color me surprised! I would've liked a bottle, but it didn't work out for me to be over there in time.

 

Burnham Mart/Burnham Liquors on Wabash has two cases of BCBS for $23/bottle. No limit. Only grabbed 4 because that's all I could fit in my suitcase :-(
