Beers Worth The Hype.

    Pliny for sure, lived up to and even surpassed my expectations.
    Zhukov, if it doesn't have hype it deserves it.
    Rochefort 10 is astoundingly good as well.
    Good Gourd really blew me away too, not sure if this is hyped at all.
    Stones 10th anniversary Ruination was amazing...

    Vanilla Bourbon Dark Lord
    Three Floyds IPAs
    anything New Glarus, especially the fruit beers
    BCBS
    BA Blackout

    etc, etc...

    A friend brought Heady and Double Sunshine back from Vermont. Both were worth the hype and then some.

    Agree with everything posted so far as for the beers I've had (including Hopslam being not quite worth the hype).

    BCBS, Citra, Fou Foune, Younger, and Beatification all exceeded my expectations. The only can I've had of Heady Topper was pretty dull, but I think it was just old and improperly stored.
