Does anyone know how much beer they brew a year now?

BT's probably won't be too far out of the the way. As a resident of a neighboring town, I'm selfishly excited for easier access. The Treehouse crew really is great and I'm excited for their continued success. Their approach thus far has paid off and they keep putting out top notch beer, I expect nothing but the same at the newest location.

Sometimes I feel like the worst MA beer drinker because I still haven't been down there nor had any of TH's beers lol.

This will be the most interesting part.

I have yet to see a brewery expand and distribute these "New England Style/Turbid IPAs".

I'm curious what happens when production is ramped up, then the beer goes on trucks, sits on shelves, is 3 or 4 months old...etc.

I know but I live on the NS so it is a backtrack.

One of the FB posting's mentioned being across from Zorba's Pizzeria which has an address of 132 Sturbridge Rd, Charlton,MA. And as @chewy527 mentioned to me, Google Street View does show a For Sale sign on the plot...

FWIW, I'm a bit biased as I don't love TH beers as much as the vast majority of my Mass brethren, but say what you will, these guys are passionate about their product. It's not fair to assume that quality will drop exclusively due to increased production. They'll need to dial it in, for sure, not unlike Trillium had to do. The first few batches out of Canton weren't their product. While still putting them out, they recognized that they had to make some changes for the new system and did. I don't think TH would make such an expensive move if they weren't confident they could scale their operations and maintain their quality.

I'm not surprised that they have the money to fund this. Lately it seems a thousand people go through the line every day they are open with Can limits most the time around 6-20 cans PPw at 3.75 per can. We're talking 24k-75k a day Potentially. Yes I know there are days with less people and some cans are 3.50 yada yada. Thats a lot of money and I'm glad they are prospering so wildly. Naysayers be damned

with their sales and margins i'm sure they didn't have trouble borrowing the money.

When I read the part about the current location being used for special and private events in the future when the new brewery is open, I began speculation about what event I could possibly book there.

This is a smart move. I think the current location is headed towards a situation like the Alchemist had in Waterbury.

I'm pretty sure distribution will be mainly kegs at first, and then they'll be sending only Julius and Green to a few select stores in MA.

Trillium expanded, built a new brewery, and started distributing. They send their main beers to several stores and that's it.

I think it's silly to expect TH to immediately begin distributing all their beers to other states in large quantities. I doubt we'll ever see that

I have a question, but let's not make a big deal about this, because the focus here is on the excitement I have to get more TH...but I am curious, what demands are other TH traders making?

Certainly, the limits come into play, especially if one can't bring a group of friends with them. Monson is in rural Central MA, so it's a 2.5hr RT out of Boston...unless one takes off work Wed to get maybe 12 combined cans of Julius/Green, a trip Thurs/Fri currently involves a 1+ hr line to receive sometimes only 6 cans and 3 growlers per person, unless willing to wait til the end of the day and chance missing a release, while Sat trip can result in 0 TH if they run out. Twitter seems to indicate only 350 people per day can get their growlers filled.

The best explanation for such limits from Tree House's perspective is to make sure the most # of their fans get to try their beer; if you've seen the lines and the # cars you'd understand. That means even though I trade with 5 guys across the country, after taking some for myself, rationing is impossible to avoid (thankfully Trillium is in my backyard). So I am excited for Tree House's success, for these great guys I met at an MIT Innovation Series event on the craft beer industry are crushing it!

Everyone always commented on the amount of money they are probably making weekly. Love that they are self funding and putting all the money they are making into building a bigger brighter future for treehouse. Can't wait to see what they are capable of. Make incredible beer and they will come.

Damn, the new location is a gazillion times more convenient for someone like me from CT who happens to travel to Worcester quite a bit. Nice, that's going to be a weekly pit stop now.
